Thank you for posting this! I have been looking for blueprints on this. I like to build things I’m a tinkerer but I have no idea how to build a boat. I’m a good woodworker, so this is right up my alley.

I use that fence to my advantage so I can cut angles. Set one side to 1" and the opposite to 1.5" for example. That's why there are two. rulers. I don't think this was ever meant to be square.

The drive belt broke on mine the first time I turned it on. It's been sitting on the bench collecting dust ever since. It broke straight but at an angle like / that.

Has anyone got this setup and it not charge their jackery? I have a 500 and it isn’t charging with the solar, however if I plug in the normal 110 plug into the input it works so I know the input works

excellent proving there is a real pint to using a wood gas genarater to charge up ones batteries wen in a real world ues well done. les England

A c heap source of hole saws is something like a downlighter saw kit... usually has a few sizes for the price of one decent saw. Is fine for thin or soft woods.

I juast realised, part of what is wrong in my life is I never do anything that requires me owning a helmet. Screws in thin plywood will buckle the surface as it expands and contracts.

Seeing how the transom grew in your video, I am going to do the math and add that extra size (approx. 1/4) to sides and bottom of transom pattern and then cut at 90 degrees and fair later. Thanks for providing the insight to the transom cutout and finishing; this was very helpful.

This has to be the coolest history story of the "PERFECTION KERO HEATER". For ultimate clean fuel have you ever considered using a "MR. FUNNEL" funnel that filters fuels from water, dirt and debris ?? I know from reading the specifications, the funnel filters fluid down to 5 microns with a coated stainless steel filter. This is a very well thought out video Joshua. How much smell do you get when lighting the kero heater ?? Does the flame burn blue or white hot type ??? I am wondering if you would add a stainless steel catalytic combustor inside the unit increase the heat and give you a blue flame. That is supposedly the hottest and efficient flame. Check out Robert Murray Smith video doing just that. I do not know how you will consider that idea since your heater is a family heirloom. Look forward to more great videos from you Sir. I purchased one (and a solar panel) mainly for a grid down, end of world situation. This will mainly be used for a lamp, charging phones and flashlights. Thought I could use it for a single heat burner but ill need my gas powered generator for that kind of thing from what ive read.

Good job on the gasifier. I am jealous, lol I have wanted to build one for years. I struggle with welding the barrels like you mentioned in one of your videos. I just made another attempt at a gasifier. My fire tube was much larger than 4 inches I ran it with both forced air and vacuum. Had red coals burning well as long as I did not get back fires which happed several times that would blow all the coals out if the top was open. When I closed the top, it would try to backfire but did not blow coals out the top. The backfires-- is this because my burn tube is too large? I would love to speak with you, but don't know how.
