Dear friends, welcome to youtube channel “DieCast & Cars” !
The goal of the channel is to show static models of cars, so it will be full of videos and photos of the models presented. But since the models are the representation of real cars, they will also be shown videos and photos of the car represented by the model; to better appreciate characteristics, bodywork and performance. You will find, in the video description, some highlights of the real car. Designers and drivers will also be mentioned when possible.
The models of cars are not only new but will also be reviewed used models. Looking for the desired model in flea markets is a lot of fun! ... and helps save money!

Bburago is finally more competitive to Spark and Mini Champs in 1/18 scale.
Bburago has good value for money for 1:18 scale, for 1:43 scale the “signature” series is to be preferred. I really like the Spark and Minichamps model cars.

Clearly if you compare them with Spark and Minichamp you can see the difference in construction but, of course, also in the price which is significantly higher. You touched on a very delicate and important issue: the costs that classic cars are reaching. While it is understandable that such rare cars can be so expensive, it is much less justified for others that are 'classic' but have been produced in greater numbers and are often not preserved in very good condition. With more reasonable costs, the passion for classic cars could spread more and perhaps even among young people.

The Abarth Spiders never used a 1995 ( 2000) engine,they were only used later on the 131 Rally.The 2000 engine was not produced until late 78' and 79...

The purchase methods I use are different: in specialized shops, online, in flea markets, model fairs and, very often, visiting exhibitions of vintage cars there are areas dedicated to modeling. The latter is the method that I prefer because seeing "live" you often find very interesting opportunities: you can evaluate the realization goodness of diecast of brands not famous, and you can evaluate the conditions of models used (very often, in fact, it is only the packaging in very poor condition).
