2023 NETRA PSTR Richardsons Farm Harescramble B Super Senior Lap 1
Richardsons Farm Harescramble in Rhode Island on 11/12/23, B Super Senior line in the morning race. Conditions were good, but the temps were cool. Fun race and Thanks again to the PSTR club and landowners for hosting the event.

Lap 1 off the 2nd line at the morning race on 10/15/23. Fast & flowy track at Thomaston Dam in CT, that was under quite a bit of water up until recently (like 20 feet). I had to cut out about 1 min of vid right after the start as a mud blob tagged the camera, fortunately I'm trying to get into a routine to clear the lens every so often.

Good conditions at the Hard Knox Harescramble in Granville, Mass on 9/17/23. This is the A/B Super Senior line in the morning race. Unfortunately my start didn't go at planned, and there's a glob of mud on the GoPro not long after I got off, but I had a good time and it was great banging bars and catching up with friends at the event.

Perfect conditions at the Art Yanke Memorial HS on 5/7/23 in Eastford, CT. Thanks again to the club and landowners for supporting & hosting this event ! The course was challenging, but fun with a mix of grass track, single track and some gnarly up-hill rock gardens.

Fires up first kick when cold with choke on, idles fine with half-choke engaged, but dies when choke turned off. Then it will not start with motor hot.

Really fun to watch, the speed is awesome.
Nice run!! You guys certainly did that at a brisk pace! Obviously not your first time on that trail. You've found the balance between "keep momentum" and "lets not die out here today".
Joe - Thanks for the feedback, and yes definitely a good balance, as we’re just a group of friends out having a good time. I see a lot of folks complain about how “clapped” out the trails are at Clough - but if you want to build your skills and learn to get “smooth” this is the perfect place to hone your skills.
Your fluidity is Jarvis like. Also I'm amazed at all the whining thrown at YZX's because they don't have electric start considering they seem to get off the line at the start so quickly without it. This sounded painful. Poor guy 2:22
this kickout section is very strange 2:35. It leverages both your bike and the guy in front of you (Kawasaki) to pivot hard right. Rocks are a strange thing. Other than ones that are flat and straight upright at 90deg., I'm learning the best way to visualize and handle them is with significant momentum. Your riding is fantastic. Your alternative line selections is fantastic. I stand in admiration.
This place looks nasty in a good way.

What jetting set up do you run for the colder weather? I just picked up a new 250 X.
I wish I had some feedback for you - but I have a ‘22 Beta 480 I typically take out in the colder temps and the YZ was stored. .
@@sjsst41 ok. I bought a jd jet kit. I put the cold weather jetting and needle in. Still a little rich for the warmer weather. If it’s mid low 30s it would be mint

What rear shock you running? I cant find any!
That was the stock rear shock that was on the KX. I did rebuild it and added a stiffer spring. They are rebuildable, the only issue is if your shock body is worn internally, or the shaft is worn/pitted. This one was in decent shape.

Definitely still quick and great balance. I got nervous when you were going fast down hill into a muddy narrow corner. I hit my imaginary brakes.

It’s definitely challenging New England singletrack, I heard the club (MVTR) might be trying to update arrowing on the trail soon. Just hitting it over the years and I’ve learned it quite well.
