I don't think anyone in this game can use Sleep spells, or any status effects spells for that matter. Only elemental spells along with Light, Darkness, and pure Aether spells can be used in this game.

i legit think the only reason XVI's world is so dark compared to other final fantasy's is because of no status ailment spells existing there's no way to counter them. One gold needle would solve the entire bearer curse right then and there

The game was complete on day 1, though, but a bit more content was developed due to positive reception. FF16 also has NG+ which encourages coming back to it some other time. I think this is a nice update to the game. Curious where you're pulling 100 hours from, though? "How long to beat" tracks the main story completion at 37 hours, main + side quests at 57.5, and a completionist style at 80. Personally I'm at 52 hours on a single plathrough, with all sidequests and DLC quests completed.

No, it is an old quest, but it got new scenes added to it.

Tbf, this is a cutscene for a side quest, at least it's not like ff15 where they release the game with a unfinished story and then they have to take multiple patches to try and fix it (which they failed imo, some of the new cutscenes are confusing as hell, like of they they just took a part of the movie and slapped it into the first part of the game)

@@Jargon.5 you also forgot the movie, the mobile game, the anime, and the book they made in an attempt to fix it, this is by far the worst ff as it was far to being finished, but we can only blame the company here, i doubt the dev wanted to do that shit

@@Jargon.5compared to 15 this game is a masterpiece. Didn’t have to watch a movie and an anime buy 8 dlcs read a Japanese only book. Just had to play wait for updates and buy 2 dlc’s this game is just awesome and simple to follow

@@Gypsyblood777 I think for Vincent it's just easier. He wants to be kept to himself to atone for his sins. He has no idea who Cloud and the others are. They have no business knowing anything about him. And if they're trespassing/causing trouble and disturbing his own self-imposed exile and atonement, it's easy for Vincent to just play the part of "security" and keep them out.

They probably did this last minute and couldn’t get mocap done. It’s still a nice scene for a side quest tho

@@PowerGamer76 I agree with him. The Jenova theme in remake for example was great, the one in Rebirth is terrible. The vocals in the main motiff that go hehehehehe are just... what?

Honestly this is a hot take because the music is very revolutionary in a sense of how it changes throughout areas of the game. The music is far superior in more ways than one.

@@ghostofhallownest5300 Yeah. The only complaint I had sonically with the game was I felt the music was mixed really bad, compared to Remake. Like some scenes were unbearable loud, and hard to hear dialogue etc.

If I remember correctly you can hear it when you play him in queens blood in chapter 13, however if you leave the Nibel Region the song goes away until you do a new play through
