Frank Sinatra's Final "My Way" Live Performance (1994) - LQ
Unfortunately, there has been various copyright issues in the past that has caused this video to become un-uploadable to CZcams, so various copyright barriers have been put in place including mild filtering, slowness but it is still on pitch. This is the only full recording captured on CZcams of Frank Sinatra's final performance of his 1969 hit "My Way" written by Paul Anka. This video showcases Frank's unfortunate rapid decline and inability to recollect the "My Way" lyrics, this was recorded only 4 years before his tragic passing. This is NOT actually the true final performance as a couple nights later he preformed in the desert but there is no captured footage of such event so this has been ruled as the final live capture. I'm surprised Sinatra actually was able to preform this as in one of his previous performances he completely blacked out the same year but yet again here he is. So Enjoy!

The fact that he dropped "that's full" and just sung "I have lived a life..." followed by his sad old face made me tear up a bit not gonna lie
This hurts my heart so much to see him like this, seeing him struggling to sing feels so not right. I really loved this guy, he was a true legend. Rest in peace frank
Looked to see if anyone had recorded him and Shirley McClean at the Superdome. I was given a couple of tickets and went. Glad I did. He had a teleprompter to read the words. But still a great concert.
I was a year old when he made this but still saw it on tape my family recorded when i was 8. What a legend
I believe owed himself these last years on stage with Frank, Jr. right beside his Dad coaching him and encouraging him to still give the best. Each of us can give our best to the end.
Its so hard to see him so old! He looks like he’s finally gotten tired. And like how everytime he sings thing song he sings it HIS way.
His last words to us. RIP Francis Albert.
The best song ever.
love his music.
I won't lie... This is sad... He delivers the song so so amazingly... But what many people don't know, is that he actually hated the song... Seeing it as "self indulgent" and as if it stuck and he couldn't get it off of his shoe...
2:17 I know this is sad, but when I said “Too much chew”, I laughed nonstop (sorry for my odd sense of humour)
1.25k feels more like the original… RIP Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) Your music of blues will never be forgotten in history ;-;
Everybody's talking about his memory and sure that is a thing. But this was a pretty good performance
I know that his singing isn’t the best here, far from it. But everything from 3:56 onward just… hits right. I also really like this instrumental too. Where the original felt triumphant and an ending, this feels like THE end.
I hope they played this song as the last song ever played at the Tropicana was open. He would’ve wanted that.
The chairman of the board, great
SPEECHLESS... THANKS FRANK.....
Es su canción favorita
😭😭😭
2:08 back like when he was young
403rd Commented 💙 : We're back again to this video after more than 29 years.
This was literally the perfect song to go out on. The lyrics perfectly encapsulates what we loved about Frank so much 😢 but it was also sweet af to see him really sort of sing the lyrics as though he was talking about his life. That was clear in his tone and expressions at the end
When he missed “a life that’s full…” in the beginning that broke that heart
After all those years, his voice was still so symbolic
Fucken "A" Brother!
... but it's voice was still the most beautiful one ...
This is utterly heartbreaking seeing him perform like this. I think possibly some greedy promoters convinced him to go a extra couple of concert tours & unfortunately he didn't do this his way. As a professional musician i performed in his orchestra at Madison Square Gardens many years ago & he looked fit, healthy & was singing beautifully. To see him forget words to his own famous songs he had sung countless times is sad.
Take example …. I take example
Frank Sinatra's manager says antidepressant was to blame for his failing health during his final years 8 Nov 2017 - He claimed Sinatra allegedly overused an antidepressant known as Elavil, which can cause numerous side effects, including blurred vision ...
The magic was still there in spite of his declining health. 👍
I truly felt his soul in every word, he seemed like such a sad man, completing his legendary journey is such an ironic fashion, truly, it might seem depressing to some, but for me this serves as yet another source of a boundless fountain of respect I have for this man, he really lived this song out, all the way to the end.
Yo escuchando a Sinatra desde mis 20 años❤
For a man battling Alzheimer’s this was a legendary way to go out.
how did a recordings' audio from 1994 be worse than when he sung it in 1974? the audio was clearer back then
switching over from film to tape.
@@xavierhbreauxin this one or the 1974 one?
Sinatra will always be the best. I love you so much Frank. You will always be the best.
"Nothing but the best"
It's all in the past now, but I can't help but wonder how much better off - mentally, physically, and every other way - Frank Sinatra would have been if he'd never met Ava Gardner.
*_~ May his soul rest in eternal peace knowing that he makes happy the entire world._*
You can see him slightly forgetting the lyrics. Rip legend
Maybe he's just getting emotional.
he is just doing it his way
@@adaharrisonn he had pretty bad dementia near the end of his life
Старый-добрый Френк... Он был блистательным до самого конца. Жизнь хороша во многом благодаря его песням, спасибо ему.
Even at this age he still has a beatiful voice
It's insanely ignorant the way that the general public judges performers as they age based on what they did when they were in their prime. This is the Frank Sinatra I WANT to see at eighty years old. He'd lived it, he was preaching it. As he always did. And the audience sat with rapt attention. As they always did. This performance should be celebrated! The last My Way? Are you kidding me? It's fucking epic. Please understand what you're looking at and listening to before you make idiotic comments like "this breaks my heart." Maybe your heart wasn't working properly to begin with.
I disagree, the reason this breaks my heart is that his singing embodies the message of the song so well. I can hear the pain from it and its beautiful, maybe its not the objectively best singing but it sure is hell the best at making someone emotional.
looking for something to be mad at clearly lol
you are completely disregarding the emotion in his performances, which is arguably the reason why Sinatra made music in the first place.
The best
A gem of a man, his voice is a part of us all
