I hope they have grass catchers for the mowers. I sure would hate to rake that big yard.

@@paulmatthews463 it is 223cc, google says that is 6.24 horsepower. I like the mower, I have had a lot of them.
I would use a bow / garden rake .
I would take a third off the height so you can reach the top. Also less to do next time

Tried it years ago. Had a rock explode and burn my cheek. Glad I wore safety squints. Also weeds came back super quick. Still do it rather then dump chemicals
Yikes. I was wondering if that could happen. I’ve had it happen while torching truck parts on concrete. But yeah, it’s not a super good weed solution.

I've always wondered and you're the first I've seen do this. Does engaging the blades at lower rpms then ramping up on the throttle prolong the life of those parts involved? I was worried it would put more strain on the engine and wear it out faster.
Yes, I think it does prolong life of engine and blade engage clutch. Lower rpms and a bit of choke at the same time, is what my first mower mechanic always said.
