I have the Invader 100, it is amazing but bro come on.... when it comes to clarity, harmonic richness, texture, response and sag. Not to mention ease to dial in, way more features and just sounds better... the KSR Colossus H-100 is what you need and want. I own both. I also own the EVH 5150III EL34, the Mesa Boogie Dual rectifier multi watt (which is my favorite of all time), the Peavy 6505II (fookin Amazing also) and a Kemper but man that KSR has something so much more special and it's all in terms of sound the amp produces! The Harmonic texture,richness and clarity is unparalleled. Oh well, sound is subjective! Different strokes for different folks lol. The Invader is awesome don't get me wrong, but no comparison compared to a KSR Colossus H-100 IMO. Cool vid though

Engl sounds so evil lmao. Mine is a bit sharp and shrill in the highs in channel 3. Is yours the same? I wanna find a non icepicky lead tone

The REVV is a great live amp.

If your EQ'd the same on the knob positions, it sounds like the Engl has more Bass overall, and that the Revv has almost a nasally characteristic kinda like ceramic pickups. I like em both and can see some good uses for each. You should make a video comparing the cleans as well.

Work on blending it with it's relative major. (The major key 3 notes up)

@@ChrisTarpleyAsylumOfCerberusno thats a scale, which could work well with the Hungarian minor scale as they share some common notes that differentiate them from normal major and minor scales. But you take your root note, and if it's a major scale, drop down (in pitch) by 3 notes and play a minor scale there around the new note and they will work together. Like key of A minor is the relative minor of C Major, they actually have the same exact notes but the starting point changes the dynamics entirely.

Dude, not sure if you'll see this, but, if you do - I need some help getting my Z-15 switcher to switch channels on my E580. I have had my whole rig (sans E580) with the switcher for nearly a decade and my last pre-amp was the E570 and everything worked flawlessly. I swapped out the E580 with the exact same cable connections and my Z-15 won't switch channels on the E580 and I can't figure out why. Any advice would be great! Thanks.

What did you play after the kill intro?
Is it just a standard MIDI controller or is it specific for ENGL amps? I am looking for a MIDI controller for my digital rig running in MainStage/Logic but I do not have an ENGL (unfortunately cause I love them). I found a great deal on a Z15 brand new for about $100 bucks, they have them on liquidation at my local pedal shop. Just making sure I can use it as a standard universal MIDI controller before I go ahead and buy it :) Also, for the external power supply (as I'll be running direct to my interface, I won't have MIDI phantom power available), is it a standard 9V 100mA adapter or does it need 9V and a higher milliamp count?

What I like about rammstien is thier songs are super layered so they don’t rely on super duper intricate guitar parts to be the main driver of the sound, the guitar works in tandem with everything else

I love how you are very melody focused in your playing. Too many metal bands nowadays focus on sheer aggression and playing at 1000bpm and neglect having a catchy melody and groove that sticks in your brain. Im super tired rn so I’m sounding super incoherent with what I mean. Keep flying your flag proud and high, my friend.
Gorgeous guitar ! Can't afford them anymore, at least in France :( What string gauge are you using in C standard ? I'm using an Ibanez RGD, so maybe it's due to the 26.5 inch scale, but the slightest micro bend that I do makes the pitch go way too high 🤷♂

Yeah, it's not hard when the positions don't change much. The shapes never change so you can just go to town across the fretboard.

this first version of AXe Fx still kicking ass!! I have FM3 and ULTRa and..I noticed that the sound with custom IR soundsa for me very similar ..there is a difference but very small and I mnot sure which unit sounding better:) For me this is the same level..this is my point of view..
