I'm glad my video was able to help with your decision to buy this game! I'm sure KT is a bit upset that I leaked a large portion of their map, but I hope they see that this leak had a overall positive effect on people's opinion of this game. They crafted a great map and I wish them the best with the release of the game!

Yeah, surely Namco's US division didn't have nothing to do with botchering the game. Back in the day North American publishers were still wary about releasing video games with heavy anime influences because they thought they didn't have a big enough audience, also in Namco Hometek's case, they weren't in good financial standing so fully localizing a game as big as AC3 was out of the question. It's not like they didn't try, though. Early press kits still mention the original plot and even some attempt was made to translate the in-game dialogue, as recalled by professional translator Agness Kaku.

@@WAGAKO19 But then what's the point of hating on it so hard, simply say what you don't like in a neutral way and voila. Ok you don't want to link/create another account but that's the only way you could play, that doesn't make it a bad game but we'll see at release, i don't think it will be a pile of garbage at least not for me and a lot of other people, it just needed network stability and performance optimization.

It's not 'Questionable' at all. In the industry it is and has been a common practice to restrict the best parts of a game's maps in a demo. You will get the full map when you pay for the game. One of the main selling points of this game is the map and the exploration of it. Giving all that away for free, even for a limited time, is a terrible business practice. This was not closed to a handful of playtesters, it was open to the world. Potential customers might think "Well I've already played and explored the map, so I don't really have a reason to buy it." I get where you're coming from, but this game has a very interesting map and they want the good parts under wraps so people are pleasantly surprised when they buy it.

​@@fizzisoda7113i think that practice makes no sense. Also the purchase reason shouldn't be just the map but the gameplay. I understand your reasoning though even though my opinion is negative on it. At least they went and made a demo, such a rare thing for such large games (unfortunately).

@@sporadPDA That's because Horizon was partly inspired by TDU, so you're going to see some similarities.

@@fizzisoda7113 I mean PHYSICS from last modern series not inspiration a game franchise.

@@sporadPDA I wouldn't say so. The physics feel a lot more unfiltered and raw compared to Horizon. I wouldn't say it's a sim, but its clearly built off sim physics. I'd say it's somewhat like Project Cars 3.

@@bizbarley74 Actually sorry I thought this was a comment on another video. The reason we want to play this with mouse and keyboard is because it's objectively the best way to play a FPS game. Joystick and motion aren't nearly as good as a mouse. It's very easy to play with a controller, as it's the intended way to play on the switch. Just look up how to use an Xbox controller on the emulator.

@@fizzisoda7113 Yeah I would agree that shooters are better with keyboard and mouse. But I think the idea of all fps games being better with that configuration is a bit to vast a statement. Either way, it comes down to personal preference. With my 7800x3D and 7900 XTX, everything is a high fps game if you know what I'm saying. That game is way too boring IMO. Horizon has lost what made it great.

Sadly I haven't played much of Horizon 2 since there's no PC version and I didn't have an Xbox One when it came out, but I can see where you're coming from. A lot of costal roads with high elevation!

Of course Horizon 5 hands down. You can't beat it. But TDUSC's graphics are about on par with The Crew: Motorfest, give or take a few things. Overall TDU has more lifelike lighting, but it can't really be compared since Motorfest is going for more stylized colors than realism.

The devs made a statement that they have an end of life plan, so an offline patch will be done before the game's servers are officially shut down. It is something you have to trust their word on, but it's nice to know they do plan on doing it.

​@@fizzisoda7113knowing the odds, I honestly doubt that was the case if The Crew 1 we're any indication of getting one and before any of you responded to me "GT Sport" yeah, that ones' was an exception to the current rule as we speaking, because chances are PD could've just probably pull an Ubisoft with GT7 at the end of it's lifespan

@@adlibbed2138 Thing is Ubisoft had NO PLANS to make an offline mode, period. Polyphony did and KT do as well. I don't think that is a fair assessment, since the issue of intent is being ignored.

​@@fizzisoda7113ight nubhead, if the cut offline mode for TC1 had proved me an evidence of these companies we're not always would giving an offline mode even if they wanted to, I honestly doubt KT would even giving TDUSC one by the end of life knowing the odds and like I said GT Sport is an exception to the current rule as far as I'm concerned, we'll never know Kaz could probably made GT7 not playable offline by the end of the GT7's online services

@@adlibbed2138 Has any other game studio made a public statement that they will make it offline at end of life? Did Ubisoft? Did Polyphony? Seems to me KT is the first. You need to keep that into account instead of automatically assuming they will never make an offline mode, regardless of the situation. I absolutely understand why people are upset about this, and I am too given what Ubisoft did to The Crew. But here we have a studio that ACTUALLY promised they will make it offline at the end of life, and I'm willing to take their word for it. At least we have that.
