Regret buying this POS. Managed to run it a total of 4 times before it just quit working. Took it apart and guess what. They stick a piece of dessicant silica inside to keep the water out haha. That and a rubber o-ring that's apparently not cutting it. The silica gel and the circuit board was all wet through. I'm gonna try to dry it and silicone the hell out of it before I throw it away ($333) into the dumpster.

I just bought Evistr model L357. I have the voice activated recorder setting on, however, it will not record. It only records when I press the manual record button. I have it set to microphone, WAV format, 512 kbps, gain setting 3, monitor setting on, AVR-on, record subsection, and timed recording both off, Record indicator on, noise, cancellation level 3. Why am not able to get the activated voice recording to work? Thank you for assisting

I didn't see any testing of the magnification. You just tested a desk lamp which helps no one looking for a "Magnifying lamp".

I hate to break it to you, but if you have any challenges in hearing, even if its only in one scenario, then you have hearing loss. You may not want to accept that, but what you described as being a problem hearing where there's ambient noise is a hearing loss in a given frequency range. Maybe not severe enough (yet) that you want to deal with it, but eventually you'll need to. The sooner you start using something to assist you means the slower the deterioration in hearing will occur.

I plugged mine into my 02 Honda Accord and I only got a red light around the outside. It wouldn’t connect to Bluetooth and didn’t give me a station to connect to. It was a blank screen.

I bought this and I have some CAUTIONS to share.Because of bogus 5* reviews on Amazon, Amazon would not allow me to post my own review of this camera on June 17, 2024. I bought the thing and gave it a good shot but am returning it tomorrow. I worked as a computer programmer for 29 years so I'm used to things not working as advertized. I wanted to use this in a fixed location, not in a car, in time lapse mode, and was keen on spending the least amount I could for this limited use, namely, $30. It specifically said it would accept a 256gb card and I figured I could get 2 months' continuous recording at 1fps. I first tested it using the included low-bidder 32gb card, making standard 3 minute (choices are 1, 2 or 3 minute) videos at 1080p and "2.5k". Viewing on a tablet was too slow so I inserted it into my Windows computer. After 10 minutes this full 32gb card was still trying to launch so I killed it using Task Manager. My computer crashed. There was no disk activity, so I saw no reason not to reet the computer. When Windows started up I chose the "start Windows normally" option. After a few minutes, the computer sort of repaired itself. Next, I used a brand new 256gb Clas 10 TF Card, formatted as exFAT, which is the correct choice. The camera balked and demanded to reformat it in the 29-year-old primitive FAT32 format. OK, I already knew I didn't want this thing so I went along with the gag. The videos that were produced when I selected the 1 minute video length has a single image, had some sort of audio and took a whopping 130mb of room. When I tried to reformat my new TF card I got the error, "Windows is unable to perform this operation" I was able to use a different computer with a different operating system and recover my precious TF card. I packed the dash cam up and ordered a return. To be fair, the design and form factor are good. I like that it can be run without connecting to an Android or Apple device, though that is the only way to alter the settings. I'm going to look for a solid dashcam with a legible screen, and forget about looking for a compact one. I'll pay 5 times as much and get one with some engineering talent behind it, where all the options work.
