The wooden bowl is a yarn bowl.

You really have to soak it underwatere for about 2 0- 30 mins. You roast it low and slow. It makes a delicious pork roast with the best fond for gravy - very important in Germany. I lived there for 30 years and regret NOT bringing my Roemertopf home with me. I'm sure you can look it up and get the exact times and temps!

The wood bowl was my favorite! We are camping in Oregon now, and were in Silverton Oregon on the 12th, Wednesday. We just missed each other. 😳 Wow! Didn’t go to the good will (wish I had) but did go into two antique stores and found some treasures! Especially loved North Star antiques. Also really enjoyed the Gordon House -FL Wright house, and strolled thru the Oregon Garden, which I learned about from you!!!

I don't remember when, but yes I wore them. Several years ago, I bought a baseball blazer that I always make sure to wear the first day of the season. Love them. I also have a few tapestry throw blankets I saved.

I hope you see this comment even though this is an older video. I've seen the Redwood Forest.😍it would definitely be out of your way but you should come see the Appalachian Mt. In Kentucky in Spring, about late April. I've traveled allove the world and it's one of the prettiest.places on Earth, if not the prettiest. Harlan County, specifically is amazing. Idk about thrifting but it is worth the trip if you did nothing but get a foul wheeler and take of to the top of the mountains.
