It looks to me like the Vanguard focused on Vulcans but their slow speed made it hard for him to put pressure on infernal expansions leading to the infernal having enough resources to beat them down even without weavers. Regardless two nice games.

the game also needs to be interesting to watch, especially for big leagues, which it just isn't imo. They probably want to push it to big leagues so they can get more investors money or more public awareness. They pretty much designed and budgeted it to be a big game. Is it attracting enough people? Personally I think the hype is mostly gone now, the marketing screwed most of it up. Should have saved some money and focus on releasing a complete game done for PvP, instead of EA and live service

Liked the video a lot. Unfortunately its a massive investment of time for an either unexpected, or no show pay off.

This one was honestly kind of frustrating. Although I'm not as down on Ardents as some folk, I think it'd be pretty obvious after the first game that repeatedly trading them into kri on an open field wasn't going to be a winning play here. If he'd just taken some time to gets some rox he could have have started producing some vectors which with the micro displayed here could have been very effective against the kri.

I remember waking up at 6-7 am on weekend and playing with ~300 ping on TANC APAC, or staying around 2 am (before i fell asleep) to also play a bit in TANC AMER just to add that 1 more player to the bracket and contribute myself. I'm really looking forward to all upcoming Stormgate tournaments, no matter of their size, time or server. Keep up the good work with TANCs and everything else ^^

If you make an rts to be an esport youll make a bad product. Make a great rts and people will be eilling to take it seriously.

I like to think of the difference between community vs product as the difference between (some) speedrun communities vs the big esport events. Obviously some of the larger speedrun events are getting big enough to want/need sponsors and all that, alot of it is very small and just a big passion project. That's what makes a good scene in my mind, having a great time not really the money.

That 2nd game wasn't very good. The Celestial player just massed argents and didn't tech at all. Notice that Mixu had a balanced army comp of many unit types. Argents aren't very good units. They're decent in the early game and that's it.

After the NDA listed I described the Celestials to someone. Their immediate concern was that nonsense like that first match would happen all the time. That isn't what I've seen happen mostly but it was funny to watch a match proving it could happen

I caught that last game on Discord. It was nice to watch, simply because I'd seen a lot of Celestial building pressure giving infernals trouble and it was nice to see an infernal player keep calm and wriggle out from under it.

i like how the game1 all-in set the pace for the series lol. It greatly influenced both players' openers for the rest of the series and their mind games all played around this.

I love how community-oriented Frost Giant has been, and how much they've interacted, even outside the closed Alpha testers. It's one of the main things that gives me a lot of hope for Stormgate.

75 was definitely not Korean. Neither it was Japanese, it was Chinese (I'm fairly sure), but I can only say because I can recognize TWO characters: "dou" which is the fourth, and "shi" which is the fifth. It'd mean something like "all is". But no idea wth his name means. On the other hand, it MIGHT be Japanese and I just have even less idea of what it means. Korean has more circles btw, if you watch a Korean phrase side by side with either Japanese or Chinese, you'll never mix them again. Lastly: disappointed that I'm not in the top 100 >:( I have a win ratio (somewhat) better than some of those players! On the other hand yeah I mean, top 100 players of the world from many different games, no way I can compete (YET!)
