I recently argued with a MAGA Star Wars fan about the difference with Gina Carano's anti-Semitic comments and Mark Hamill's anti-Trump criticism. That difference is that Carano was excluded from any further Star Wars projects because Disney did not want to associate themselves with her political opinions, and that Hamill is not contracted by Disney. They merely pay him for his image and voice with the CGI representation of Luke Skywalker. But as Hamill has distanced himself further and further from Disney since creative differences in The Last Jedi, we will see how long that lasts. Kathleen Kennedy herself has wanted to bury his memory since The Force Awakens.

strongest video on that topic and i would love to see that more ppl watching it. mindhunter is one of the best shows on netflix ive ever watched (beside ozark, stranger things and the umbrella academy) and it sucks, that they throw it away (maybe apple can safe it). the thing is, the acolyte was a expensive and bad show. there is no need to blame actors, if u want quality u need to stop watching crap. yes, there are some elements in the acolyte that are nice, i like qimir and the fightscenes... after watching kenobi and hated it, it felt for me, "fans" just wanted lightsabre and iconic characters. but if u spend 180 mios on a show u compete with other shows like hotd or shogun. booth shows are well done, sure has also not so good moments but all in all u have a great cast, great visuals and slow expanding story and a lot of enjoyment. for me personal this is where you can place star wars. it needs to be more for grown up (cause this thing runs since 77), its a big world u can do stuff for everyone but if u spend an specific amount of money u need to know who your adience is. i know... its classic but andor has making things right, it feels like a good adventure thriller and could stand on his own feets beside the star wars logo. i know many ppl who like good shows and are not in the sw fandom, they like andor as a show. most of my star wars buddies watched 2 episodes of acolyte, a few stopped watching star wars after ep8 and dont know if they wanted to come back. im a guy in the middle, i wanted that star wars should be good but cant watch a terrible show. and this is what the live action shows are. in the kenobi show u can extract kenobi and vader. replace kenobi with someone else and it would change nothing. if u doing a kenobi show... the focus should be on that character, there is no need for big adventures... my expectaion was a man hiding in the shadows, watching over luke and protect him from things to come. this has the bigges potential for rly good character drama where the audience can follow a jedi that is conflicted with the jedi order path and the need to do maybe terrible things to protect luke and maybe other jedi survivers. if i watch a trailer and it looks good for me ill give the show 3-5 episodes to catch me... star wars was the exeption ive watched that crap... kenobi, boba and acolyte (not finished). but i dont want waste time on a show that is garbage and only exists while it has a star wars logo. i will never watch a star wars show if its not promising enough. after episode 3 of acolyte i was confused what i have watched... and its not getting better... than i reached ep 7 that was ep 3 from another pov and i stopped watching it. not seen the final episode and i dont care about it. cause i dont care about anything in this show. qimir and sol was great and u would love to see those guys in another show from another director who knows his job.

Good riddance The Acolyte. Whole production was a complete mess, clearly. Feel great about them quickly making the call on cancellation, no point in dragging the fans of the show along. I do still have some hope for the future of the brand and I’ll give majority of shows and films a chance. Still looking forward to some projects that are coming still…Skeleton Crew, Andor S2, Mando movie, Mangold film, whatever Daisy Ridley is involved with. That being said the thing that truly sucks about it all? Is I just really don’t care anymore. I will be happy to experience the films and some shows with my daughter when the time comes but yeah, corporate decision making has taken over and ruined what once was. No matter what we get next, it will be reactionary. How did we get to this point so fast? Anyways, always well spoken my man.

I don't how i feel. there is a part of me that likes seeing egos humbled and i feel like i've seen the actress say dispicable things. At the same time dancing on a grave is at best tacky and gross. When you zoom out and put it in perspective.. what does a comment with 300 likes really represent? assuming every single interaction was american that's 6 people per state. even with the most disingenuous bad faith interpretation of every comment and calling them racist, we're talking about needles in a haystack.

I can say that a production company does NOT care about mean comments on a show. It's a business, there was very likely a finance and analytics departments involved in this that produced a detailed Excel spreadsheet with pivot tables to summarize the season results to executives. I agree going to her IG crosses a line. I've viewer her IG like twice when she dropped the "diss track" but never had any urge to ever leave a comment.

Ill say this is a bad example, this interviewer and reporter went off and attacked Theory and people on an individual level attacked her. You can’t attack someone and expect everyone to be ”cool” with it. We can’t look at small anonymous individuals on the internet to be responsible for EVERYONES INTERESTS. Like you said Theory is a good shepherd and that’s exactly why his word should be highlighted and respected. He isn’t anonymous and he is being respectful. I think looking at anyone else coming from ”his side” would be extremely disingenous and we end up with a vocal minority. So to make this short, making the vocal minority the voice of the ”people” only illustrates how narrow your scope of engagement is.
