@@J1zzLord2000 nope, seems they changed the way they name it completely, there is no 1200 (or 1300 or 1134 or any number like that) also usual text strings not working. I should be in basic game options tbh, I cant play on so stupid zoom like in yr 2005

i double checked this morning cuz i have not played for a long time. it is still working. The camera distance is 1200 ... unless u use legacy mode

@@XuanKu I am not sure why it doesn't work for me any more. When I go into Hero demo after updating the client.dll file, the game will still look as if the distance is 1200 even though I saved it down as 1700. my process is 1. close dota game 2. update client Dll file 3. Start up game. Worked for years and for some reason now its not working for me... =(

its no longer 1200, its back to 1134 but when I tried to update the 1134 it does not work! I am using 7.31d patch

if u dont abuse it .. no it wont. i saw people abused this with 2000 end up getting banned

notepad++ is an open software. you can google and find it right a way.

hmm did u use notepad++? also what i would do .. i would delete that folder and verify game file then open and change again.

cant say .. cuz i have to only pc to confirm. if u able to find client.dll edit with notepad++ and search for value. maybe it is possible

@@XuanKu when i modifie the file and open dota, a window opens that says a game file appears to be missing or corrupted. any idea?

delete it and verified then change again

i still have it actually. u can find 1134 and in game console change camera legacy to 1
