Hi. My name is Keith and I'm from Maidstone in Kent.
Our pond was originally built in Summer 2019, using 200mm x 100mm sleepers, lined with 1mm Firestone EPDM liner and then added a Retro-Fitted bottom drain supplied by DracoDrum.
In the Summer of 2021, we upgraded the pond to include a fixed aerated bottom drain, fibre glassing and an in-pond skimmer. The pond was also expanded to ~1900 gallons/8550 litres, including filters.
Dimensions are now 3.4m long, 1.6m wide and 1.5m deep.
The pond is gravity fed into a Nexus 220+ fed by 65lpm Jebao air pump & K+ and K1 media, before returning to the pond through 3 returns via a 10000 lph EA Vari-pump and a ThermoTec ASHP.
There is also a JS Koi Two-Tier Bakki Shower 1.5m wide, fed via a 20,000 lph EA Vari-pump via Oase AquaSkim Gravity skimmer.

Just a short video of possibly the largest Koi in the UK, at 1.1m-1.2m long, on a recent trip to @koiwaterbarnltd.871, with @koiponics and @edenkoipond.

EZ Pond Installation Part 1 - Preparation

Part 1 of my EZ Pond (EZ750i) grow-on installation. I haven’t seen the floating baskets available on any of our lists for a few years now and I’m not sure they are still available now. The one you have made looks really good and will save a few quid. The price of the floating ones used to make my eyes water 😅
