Awesome car buddy, do you review any type of car? I have a 2014 jaguar XFR with the supercharged 5.0 V8 if your interested in doing that? Its a fantastic car and has been 100% reliable in my 2.5 year ownership as a daily driver.

Renault lent me one for a month it was great BUT after two days I pressed the global open button, there was a loud clonk and the drivers side window fell down never to raise again, I took it back and they replaced it with a Velsatis v6 which was ok but also a sales flop, being a glutton for punishment I bought an XM

The 5.5 engine is not the best for reliability, especially when mapped they coating in the cilinders is prone to failing and you get piston slap with bend rods as a consequence.

Going to be linking him to this but suspect he’s probs watched it already 🤣 The engine note is the signature piece. Hard to find a more savage sounding V8 this side of the big Pond. Love these videos cause the level of excitement felt is as if we’re sat in the passenger seat 😂 I know I couldn’t trust myself to own something like this. I need Quattro or X Drive if I was to buy something similar 😅

The M157 is a cool engine but it has a BIG MAIN PROBLEM like the M278: The Surface of the cylinder will die after 150.000km - because it got coated with alusyl for emissions and lower fuel consumption. Everything good with it but it will rub after time and you cant repair it. All what u can do is buying a new engine... :( It costs about 50k here in germany.

I love these so much. Shame they never made it to Australia. The closest we probably ever got to this down here is the Citroen DS5. I'm still looking for a low mileage one at a fair price!

They are a bit slow on the hills with the aircon on 🙂 I live in Japan and we have had a 2002 Daihatsu Mira for the last 8 years and use it as a local runabout/shopping car. Very cheap to run and much cheaper to tax etc. and as long as you have a bigger car for the longer journeys all is well. Drive carefully and defensively as Keis don't come off best in a crash.
