Kia ora I have only just come upon this very interesing video on how Whanau Ora is regarded , and how a whanau-centred approach works - well, at least up to a year ago when I think this video was made. I am about to embark on an oral history project called The Insulted Heart (copied recdently to TobiaS Nischallke as healthy sector manager in the Parlimentary group ). My question to him concerned the cosyt of cardiac processes, but it occurs to me that the project might be of some interest over time in recording how well or otherwise the cardiac process accommodates and recognises a whanau-centred approach. I would be happy to email the project outline (plus notes on my own background by way of justification) to you should you think this whanu-centred approach might be worth pursuing. Wow that was ignorant, inaccurate, misinformation, offensive and insulting to a civil society activist like myself - who has spent 20 yrs trying to get ACC to provide Occupational Therapy rehab, education support and safe stable housing in my community AS REQUIRED BY LAW! I get terrorised violent assaulted and ridiculed by police for what I do. I am denied ALL health care (including not allowed to phone Healthline, access a doctor and now can't even sit for hours in A & E to get help (which is what I was told to do), was abused in a psych ward I was illegally put in. Am in court at the moment for writing poetry about a grossly corrupt fascist bigot lawyer who stopped me getting ACC Occupational Therapy more than 6 months - after I won two reviews in 2010 and 2011 to have it reinstated. ACC assessor and this lawyer committed criminal fraud to stop me getting what I am entitled to. I lobbied OAG for years, protested in your office, when I first brought up how badly poor kiwi abuse victims were being treated you sent me letters insulting me, saying I was lying!
