I got two. One of my past students had something interesting to share with me. He said he was talking about me to his Mom the other day and she said ''Your teacher is stupid.'' And he defended me saying: ''No she is not. She is really nice to me!'' I hugged him for that, I was shocked and saddened, like ma'am, your child approves of me, what did I do? Second was another student asking me why I don't have any kids. I just smiled, patted his back and said, '''Kids? Sweetie, I have you and your other 26 classmates, I think I'll be just fine.''

Oh girl you're preaching to the choir! If you think it works good with Pre-K you would be flabbergasted to see a toddler classroom successful with signing. Imagine 14 one and two year olds with very little conflict. They would communicate, often their signs were mine, no, I want or stop I've had enough. But they were effectively getting their needs met without being dependant on the teachers for conflict resolution. It was miraculous!
