A great job there, I love learning about these things ! :-)
this video was better than therapy! Very satisfying.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome. Could you show how to pull out a slight / small roof dent ?
Nobody gives a fuck
Very good work. Can u share links to the tools used please?
I don't watch tutorials on big dents! Magnificent Before and After though 👍
Listen to Tom! I have to go back to the basic lol. Always practice the basics.
Please, I want a clip teaching the basics of PDR. Send me the clip❤❤
I had a similar dent removed, i was told it was a double panel above the wheel arch and had to be done from the outside. One PDR company could not do it, a body shop wanted a €1000 to fill and spray, another good PDR guy did it for €200 excellent job. Thanks for your info
Absolutely amazing work brother 😎👍
💚🇬🇧🌱
How I use hot glue... Half way through the video, not a spot of hot glue. 😂

Wow. Nice.
Thank you 🙏

Is that how you get tea tree oil? lol, I know, I know I'll get my coat... Taxi!
Great advice Tom. What about if you get a watcher? How do you politely get them to leave you alone 😂
Say you have Covid
@@dentremover01 😂
😂😷
You can say you need to concentrate on the repair process, by all means watch but you may ignore them, or if you keep asking for coffee they may not come back out, lol alternatively pop your headphones in! 👀
What if I work for you ? 🧐
Less is Best
Always tape the tip... Erm for what exactly?
Taping the tip of your tool when carrying out paintless dent repair gives a softer push, more details in the description
@@LearnPDROnline yeah I definitely recommend that you explain what you are actually talking about in your videos lol, otherwise you leave people in bewilderment.
@@Dimera09 Thanks, I guess I just assumed people would read the title of the video they were watching or maybe even read the description. Thanks for your feedback
Its the little things that Make a Difference 👍
I looked at an Amazon glue pull kit. Is there a better less expensive kit to start with?
Better Yes, less expensive No. If budget is the most important thing you may be better off with Amazon and Ebay products, but for carrying Paintless Dent Repairs I always recommend getting PDR tools from a PDR tool supplier, most tool companies are started by PDR techs that know what's required from the tools 👍
Absolutely zero context. What is this? Care to explain? Lol.
Yes of course, in the video I said that adding tape to your tool allows for a softer push and reduces high-spots, and then I go on to say that you can reduce the layers of tape as you go. To give you more context I am referring to adding layers of tape to the tip of your tool whilst pushing dents, this will effectively make the tip softer and broader, the softer the tip, the less likely you are to create unwanted high-spots in your repair area, the more layers of tape you add, the softer the push. Then as the dent gets smaller you can reduce the layers of tape, less tape makes the tip less soft, the smaller the dent the smaller the tip required to push. Beginners often get lots of high-spots in their repair area which then makes it difficult to see the original damage, and then they struggle to finish the last 10% as they can no longer see what's low and high, in summary a cleaner repair process will allow for a cleaner finish. I hope that helps
I persumne your removing dents?
@@paulbeddows6014 Yes, this is a channel dedicated to learning how to remove dent damage with Paintless Dent Removal so pretty much all of our videos are in reference to removing dents 👍
@@LearnPDROnline cool
Yeah because I hadn't searched for your video, it just came up as I was flicking through shorts. Also the title is cut off after a certain amount of words (until I press the 3 dots) so I couldn't see any reference to car dents at all. Cheers and good luck
His tools look good. Believe it’s not China made because everyone has experienced with quality of its products
💚🇬🇧🌱
🙏Thanks
Great Content 👍
Thank you, I enjoyed putting together this mini series for the 'Day in the life of a PDR Tech' Enjoy 👍
If you were to name 5 main important tools to begin to work with PDR what would they be??
If you are looking for beginner tools then check out this video - czcams.com/video/ImLu9Lk2qCo/video.htmlsi=qfkhP4ki6eQmMgrU and I also did a video recently on the 5 tools that make me money and you can watch that here - czcams.com/video/z2pzeH9Vfcc/video.htmlsi=ovn86TtlvXf4a_AS
Nasty right tool , i think a harder tip would pushed the centre of the crease better , i will have to practice that one
Yep a lot of force can be created with the DoDa tool!. and yes a harder or smaller tip may have worked less of the area but also it was such a deep crease, too small a tip would slip off the inside ridge. In hindsight it should have been opened up more to reduce tension and bring up the centre!
Doda😂
Its my 'Green Tool' for fixing dents! 😂
Real nice work, thank you for sharing.
Thanks Victor, appreciate your comments
Nice ❤
Cheers buddy!
Awesome just Awesome thanks
Thank you 🙏
Hello.and what is it for... what is its purpose?
Hello! Blending is a repair technique we uses to 'blend' a repair into the existing paint finish of a vehicle, if you look closely at a vehicles paint you will see a certain amount of texture in the finish. To achieve an invisible repair we often try to match the texture of our repair area into the existing texture of the panel, there are a couple of techniques/methods to do this, here is the link to the full video which explains a bit more - czcams.com/video/OMT-TXTPwDA/video.htmlsi=fjspMhgrOyj0PLBL
Hey thanks I hate to be a dumbass but what are you doing when blending
Not a dumbass at all, every expert was a beginner once and blending is an advanced skill. @@LearnPDROnline hey thanks brother
Hey thanks Loving it big guy
Thanks Bill, glad you're enjoying my videos 🙏
Thanks for the Video Tom 👍. Getting better every day myself! Hopefully by now you are up and feeling Great again. Cheers from Texas US
Thanks Edwin I'm glad you are practising and getting better! I'm doing ok thank you, still recovering but well on the way now 💪
Very good how you got the Dent out. Got to get my out back of bottom side panel.after somebody revised into my car. After in a car park for 25 mins. They had driven off quickly. Unfortunately all the car park Camra's were off.
Yes that's so frustrating when people do not own up to damage! Some people care about their cars unfortunately some don't.
Perfect job 😍
Thank you! 😊
See I stopped before it got that bad 😅. I got about 50 60% at best but was fighting with highs and lows on a 2014 Toyota Rav4 rear quarter area.
😅 Yeah this one was a bit messy but all ok in the end. Usually these types of reworks require a lot more tapping down than anything else 👍
💚🇬🇧🌱👌
Thank you!
👍
🙏
How do you get glue off the panel? I've not found a faultless method yet...💚🇬🇧🌱
I use 'Isopropyl alcohol' its the best product I have found for removing the glue and also cleaning the panel before and after PDR. Also make sure you are using PDR glue as general craft glue looks the same but does not perform the same...

Thank you!

All that tension! 😂
Pull tower not required 🤣
Thanks for posting, these videos have at least given the confidence to try PDR on a door panel before I just try to find a new one at a junk yard. Do you have an Amazon store or just a list of tools you would suggest for a beginner DIY?
You're welcome, I'm glad they help. I don't have an online store but in this video I run through some of the key tools to start learning - czcams.com/video/ImLu9Lk2qCo/video.html
I can’t find my tip on lines to save my life
That's like me with fog, lol, I can start a dent well but I struggle to finish cleanly without lines
I tried a wet pull, but then my wife walked in on me.
😂
Do you think that an Amazon PDR dent pull kit (SuperPDR) is good enough for a starter kit for a beginner? I noticed that the tap downs is a hard plastic. I’m thinking about giving it a shot plus checking out your online workshop.
I do know a lot of people start off with cheap kits on Amazon or eBay and I do understand its less of an investment upfront and often appears a good amount of tools for the money compared with PDR tool suppliers. Often there are a couple of tools in these kits that are useful however there are also a lot of cheap copies of tools out there that just don't perform as well. I usually recommend just getting 5 or 6 quality tools from a reputable supplier over a cheap kit with loads in. One of the most common problems is people saying the glue isn't working or the tabs do not stick, this does not happen with the correct tools when the correct methods are also used. I am not against trying cheap tools to get a feel for PDR but just need to be aware that they may not perform as well. 👍
@@LearnPDROnline the kit is for glue pulling only. No rods included.
