This video dispels the myth that Verstappen fans seem to be proliferating that British fans were clapping and cheering him crashing out.
look at other angles I've seen at least 2-3 seperate videos of fans perspectives and people were cheering and clapping
@@imluigi That's no different to any other fanbase cheering when another driver crashed out. Verstappen fans cheer just as loudly. Once they realised the scope of the impact, they went silent and started applauding when he climbed out of the car. This is something Verstappen fans don't do.

@@racheldavies6860 we where on becketts all we had was a small screen in front of us.. For a split second people thought he had just spun off into the gravel an cheered because all we saw was literally dust.. As soon as people saw he had actually hit the wall... People stopped and cheered when he got out.. If you go back to imola 94 people cheered when senna wasn't there not knowing he had crashed.. This is nothing new in F1.. Stop making it to be something it clearly wasn't!!
There is a video from the main stand of everybody celebrating like they scored a goal tho.

These angle really show the speed of that crash, and a big thumbs up to those spectators. You could see the shock and then the relief and pleasure that Max was ok. Unfortunatley though next year theyll probably be at least another 50metres further back. Without wanting to be controversial this angle in my opinion makes it look more Hamiltons fought than the tv pics do but still I guess a racing incident.

When you're trackside cars look faster and crashes more violent than on TV, so spectators are anxious to see that the driver's OK. There may also be an element of, "Well done mate, that was a spectacular crash."
Because we were all relieved to see Max get out of the car not seriously injured..

The McLaren guy at 0:42 really shows that even the british fans were shocked and so they weren't cheering for the crash like many people suggested. (Ofcourse there's always some idiots who do)
