This piece of music holds dear my memories of finishing high-school. I've never sang with such a fine group of musicians, even ten years later. Missing them terribly.

There is much of God and the Infinite that I don't understand, but tonight I understand clearly that God allowed Morten Lauridsen (the composer of this piece) to be born and inspired him with Divine music as a love note to me from God. No mistaking it. And the text is perfection. Beautifully done.

This is surely one of the most beautiful selections of music and greatest performances thereof that I have had the pleasure of listening to. Morten Lauridsen is a gifted composer,. The talented voices that performed this classical work "Sure on this Shining Night," caused me to be swept with emotions as I also experienced what I can only describe as a Divine moment in the peaks and valleys of the music. Excellent performance!

Anyone who has sung in University choir just appreciates how spectacular this performance is.. and fills you with memories of life.

I sang this in my choir in 2017. I love it. It gets stuck in my head sometimes. I love singing, especially in a choir. Due to The Virus of 2020 I haven't been able to sing in a choir and listening to this piece in both ears with the sound on high, remembering being on the stage and letting the piano just wash over me as I sing with all the passion I've got... **sigh** I did cry. A little. God, I want to go back.
