I don't know. I really see a lot of Sonic (Sonic X version) personality in Archie Shadow. Like if Sonic was constantly sad.
After Having watched SA2, heroes and 06 cutscenes, I changed my mind. Shadow used to have a better, likeable personality. In Archie comics is personality is just more fleshed out, adapted to the media. In games we don't see much his inner struggle because it focus on other characters too, but in comics we see what is hidden behind Shadow's overconfident facade.
