I dont like FIFA, I played PES since PS1, and now everything went to... PES is ower. Every year I try FIFA and I dont like it, but I have to say that this looks really good, much better, it seems that the ball physics changed a lot, or am I tripping?

I hope they bring back the old match day presentation. They had that on point with the line up shots of the stadium. Now they just have a 10 second clip of the teams playing (before they played?!) And u don't even see the teams walk out. Yes many people skip this but don't take it out and sell it to us as dynamic match day presentation like it's a new feature.... sometimes it's nice to watch the old match day presentation... but maybe they will put it back in a few games times and sell it to us as a new feature.

It still looks pretty horrible to be honest, doesn't feel like the player and the ball are separate objects with it's own physics, the ball seems like it's sort absorbed onto a magnetic field and the players don't run with their legs, seems like they're moving with wheels underneath them and the leg animations try to match the movement but fail horrible and keep twisting and teleporting, it's a total shit show breaks any type of immersion you could have in a football game.

I dont care how long it takes to mod fifa. Go look how the mods in skyrim are treated. They are far more complex and time consuming than a simple ini tweak and sliders that these "modders" provide but charge for. Contributing for mods should be optional not necessary since thats what makes the moddingscene so good. Ask all big modders out there and they will tell you the same.

I’ve been playing 23 with mods. Efootball and pes are dead unfortunately

I’m so used to play pes with mods, that as I start to see any ea fc (modded or not) gameplay and see that players float, they don’t take steps to run, it’s like they are playing on ice. That by itself destroys any interest from my part. Sometimes the discussions are silly, if you like arcade , fine , it’s your style, have fun, now don’t say to me that ea fc is more realistic than pes. Pes is the type of game that for the first time is making me consider playing 15 minutes per match. If you play a 15 minute match in EA FC, the score is 11-5.

Thanks for giving my gameplay mod a run Ricky. For those simply making judgments from the animations/dribbling alone, there's so much more to this mod than the movement. Ricky obviously just provided a tiny, tiny snapshot of what's there, but there's so many ways you can adjust and change this gameplay to suit your needs. Here's a full match from the Extra Slow version using some different options as an example - czcams.com/video/ZrliJUETQm0/video.html I do understand people's skepticism regarding the game, I know that it doesn't look as great as PES in a video for sure - however, there are a lot of elements in the gameplay that you PES 2021 guys would actually enjoy if you could suspend judgement for a while and give yourself some time with it. This game modded,does so many things that PES 2021 can't do and there's actually a lot of depth there if you give it a chance. I get messages often from guys who are masssive PES 2021 guys and to their own surprise are loving FC24 with the mod and won't go back. I know a lot will just make the usual 'skating' comments, pat yourselves on the back and be on your way though. I'm not defending the foot planting in FC24, but there's a lot more to realism than just a turning circle and you will find that if you dig a little deeper. The movement is dramatically improved, despite what you might see, and a lot and you will feel this as soon as you play it. Just to clarify too, the in game settings should be Player Based Difficulty: On and Attributes: Classic. I noticed this was wrong in the video so thought I would mention.

Try extra slow, base only. You'll notice how you can "play chess" more to look for openings. Also if you're just starting to try the mod, start on World Class first, since the mod enhances the difficulty based on that level. And if you want more challenge, add the defence + attack difficulty boost instead of going legendary. On legendary there's still some EA scripts that glitches the mod cause the AI aggressively dribbles and do scissors. And if you want to play FUMA (like I do), it's better to not use any error settings on the mod, but instead turn off user's pass and shot error on the in-game sliders (set to 0-10). That way bad passes are only triggered by the player's instead of randomly generated by the mod or game (which is why some of your passes are weird, regardless of the camera angle), since most of the users play semi / auto. I've been playing with this mod daily, broadcast cam, full manual, no power indicator, found the best settings to reduce the skating feeling movements and dribbles, and never went back to the outdated PES and the-now-trash eFootball after that.

I recently switched to ea24 after a lifetime with pes, And I gotta say this: I'm honesty impressed by the game, it doesn't feel arcady like in the past years, it's getty pes-like and the animations and physics look very good compared to the current gen of football games. It's sad to say but right now EA has the best football game on the market.

how can anyone play with this camera, straight trolling trying to LARP the actual broadcast and play. One thing is watching a match and another is playing with that camera, clown show.

I never liked FIFA and FC football games. The ball physics are ridiculous, like a balloon. The movements of the players are also very artificial. It's as if they are running by sliding on the field. The distance and time covered on the field with the running motion is very artificial.

I know you might not want to bother... but I strongly suggest trying to play Fifa 17... I've been playing it for a year now, and it's been the best football experience I've had since PEs 2009

So i recently bought a gaming laptop purely to keep the PES21 dream alive. Please could you let me know the best place to get mods from. I know smoke patch have theirs, i also have tried virtua red. Turn off hair option = no lag / stutter. And then you can play on ultra. But please turn off the hair option (dont worry hair are still moving but less and more natural) Also the kits are not moving because you play on medium. Anyway with modes fc is actually a good game.

Till they change the game engine this will always be the same gameplay experience

It still looks like crap 😂. Just play pes 2018 with proper option file. I just started a new episode on master league and its the best football game ever made. The whole game is just perfectly balanced. All the future football games are wasted due to money grabbing mentality. They dont care about a good game nowadays, unfortunately😢

I wonder how long they will keep using this awful engine. Every year I say this is it, but they keep surprising me. So FC26 will be different? I don’t mind giving my money to EA, but not for this product.

Don't get me wrong but what's the point on playing with manual passes and shots when you miss most of them? For me when players misses simple passes and shots is a big take away from realism and a deal breaker I don't get why someone who pursues realism and simulation insists on that. 🤷
