Not making it immediately obvious when looking at the second diagram that it's a vertical view makes reasoning about the facts much harder. I only now realize that saying "shot through an open window" is not the best way go word "shot through the space where the window sits when closed". This case is difficult, but a lot of the time that's not for the right reasons, unfortunately. I really wish there was a log so you could look back at earlier lines. I had chosen the ones that sounded the most like they could be a person's name, and I amused myself finding "borbo fanta", which is an African butterfly species. It's a shame I hadn't realized that the lack of proper resolution to the first contradiction could be distracting. I think a lot of the issues with the writing here come from my insistence on trying to order facts in a way to maximize the number of sudden revelations the player/Aster get. I realize now that this ends up hurting the pacing. Most of the info from these non-testimony witnesses should have been revealed during a longer investigation segment instead. Same goes for Draco's "Let me call a witness to explain something seemingly irrelevant only to reveal its significance later" plan. It's purely an attempt to pace the story to maximize the number of twists Draco can throw at you here. I have to say, I had forgotten about tbe second detective character. I would probably cut one of them if I reworked this script. There are quite a few irrelevant details in the trial which I included to give some personality to the characters and keep the solution to the mystery a little bit ambiguous. (Not that there's a lot to go on to figure the solution out in advance.) I'm honestly not sure if there would be a detectable number of glass shards in this situation, but it made for a useful tool in writing the case. I think that graphical issue can be fixed by reloading the page. You have a point. Draco could have started by talking about the other murders first. Really, he should have described all three murders before getting into the specifics, to avoid seeming like he was giving irrelevant information.

The text not being green is a bug with the site that happens when you load a save. (Or I forgot to set the color, I don't actually remember.) I think that music track is just cut wrong by the site, as I used the site's versions for most AA songs. When Phoenix loses his memory in AA2, he remarks that it's very irresponsible to promise a complete acquittal. The zoomed out courtroom shots are missing because I would have had to custom make the small character sprites myself and my artistic ability is limited. This is the same reason Draco has no sprites in the first scene - I had only court sprites for this design, and I could not make my own for the investigation. The judge repeating Alpinus's thoughts is just meant to be a running gag. I used some voice clips that AAO community members had made freely available for the characters. Booting the player back to the testimony could have been handled smoother, yeah. AA generally doesn't do this because each testimony has a single lead to follow, but I used this testimony for information as well. I can see why the way the prosecution handled this was frustrating - reading the script back as you play, I can see quite a few spots with awkward design. I had originally written this case for a competition which lasted three months - the entire script was written in about 1.5-2 months at the most. It could have used many revisions which I did not have time for. I definitely have a lot to learn when it comes to writing/puzzle design. I appreciate the honest feedback!

He's meant to be on a stage with the flag hung up behind him. The music during the speech is from Spirit of Justice. No original music here, unfortunately.

I can kinda see how he deduced it but it’s kinda a stretch for me. So he was able to listen to multiple Kira supporters at once with multiple different languages and how long was he doing this before he figured it out. Then he was able to remember Mikami’s statements and make the deduction. ( his memory is op ) Like I can kinda see how he got to his conclusion but I still feel like it’s kinda forced. Death note is very realistic but this incident was definitely plot.
