2 things 1: I just watched an entire episode of Slappy Squirrel in my head because the score and orchestra are so on point. Every joke has "won'won", every character and setting have their own sound, and the Slappy Squirrel theme can be heard in different variations all throuought the piece. 2: I understand now why watching a new episode of Animaniacs doesn't give me that same joy and laughter as the 90's version. Richard Stone, the composer for most WB animation (Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Taz-Mania, Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid), died in 2001. Because his music isn't there to puncuate jokes and give life and feeling to the characters, it just doesn't feel like Animaniacs to me. It's amazing how the change, or lack of, the original composer can change the feeling for a show so drastically.
The scoring in the animaniacs reboot has turned into just background music with certain interactions with the animation. It feels like there's a disconnection between both of them. Besides the new scoring sounds less theatrical and more digital.
Powerhouse is basically Cartoon Network's unofficial national anthem

2:10 3:33 6:46 Mr. Clown: When the whip-poor-will Whippers in the wind The wind can whipper back Oh, nice and chubby baby!
So cheery for the most (and only) freaking depressing episode of animaniacs. >_<
6:13 I don't know why, but I love the little "Wah" sound effect. It makes me laugh for some reason.
Nice
Awsome never noticed how the main theme for Animaniacs was incorporated into this particular segments soundtrack it sounds really good and very well done
This sounds really good I can really get a feel for how well and beautifully composed the music is in this particular episode

Full credit to the orchestra who did every episode. Every sound effect including the compisitions themselves were all done with the same instruments and with such flawless timing. You can tell that everyone who worked on this cartoon poured their hearts into it.

While I'm listening to this, I still hold out hope for a score release of this amazing show's music. Richard Stone truly was a great composer.
