Banning Gateway seems so unlikely in my opinion that I think there is a higher chance Gateway gets unlimited instead since Six Sams are probably a Rouge deck at best with this support wave. The only reason why it would make sense to ban it is because it promotes unhealthy gameplay and FTKs and not because the deck is too powerful.

Oh yeah that is a very obvious improvement over the previous version.

The combos are pretty cool, forcing monsters to flip up early in order to speed them up is exactly how to reintroduce flip monsters into the modern game. I do see this deck might have some intensely troubling time with a puny amount of starters. Instant fusion at 1, 3 horses, and I guess like Subterror a little bit but that’s a completely different combo line entirely. For this 60 card deck, that is not nearly enough consistency in the opening hand. Plus, there are little to no slots for hand-traps which is a death sentence. This deck needs more cooked up starter cards to be consistent enough to play the game more than a fourth of the time.

Awesome guide! Ive been running a Gold Pride Goblin Deck for a while that ive enjoyed a lot. It does lose kinda bad to Nib or Droll but access to Pin Baller is so nice. Definitely going to take some of these ideas and work with them.

What about Azamina Fiendsmith Snake-Eyes? You only need 2 cards in your Main Deck + 2 in the Extra to make the Snake-Eyes combos even better. This deck will never exist im the TCG but it still would be cool to see how much stronger that deck would be. Lithium already made a interesting video about it.

I'm not crazy about the bushido version, because to start you have to see gate, for gate you have to do link2, it's true that using tuner you can block ash on the link, but veilers and similar effects remain, too many ways, and the link is blocked the combo blocked. In my opinion a more sober version would be more suitable for tournaments, with my version ending with 4 interruptions, minimum 3, that is the new spell (which will have double effect) shien lv5 and lv6 and the Great shogun shien.

With the ftk line, make sure you're running a Trishula and 3rd Saryuja, that way if your opponent hits you with a Spooky Dogwood, you can turn the combo into a 5 card handloop. Then turn 3 re-set up Mizuho + Shinai and since Gateway has infinite counters, you can make a monster you control gain infinite attack, so it doesn't matter that your opponent has 2 million life points or whatever from Dogwood.

you can't target ultimaya with crimson dragon, but other than that the idea is great. I figure you cannot really cut any other engine card in order to fit more non engine but yeah, looks cool

Going second you can use heavy tank and rcia or silve to make PEP

White Woods is just such a cool archetype. Was already getting a ton of use out of it with the new Millennium engine. An engine that also works really well in Gate Guardian for getting the bricky pieces on the field. Not the biggest fan of the high handtrap count since the deck really wants you to run as many spell/traps as possible and I'm a much bigger fan of using the White Woods Boss monster's second effect in order to summon Synchro Tuners with quick Synchro effects. Satellite Warrior and Chaos Angel are even more effective when you can interrupt your opponent with them.
