As a neutral from the US trying to find some good rugby, the top 14 doesn't seem very competitive. It's either always toulouse or almost always toulouse. I think I'd rather watch another competition.

Ce match est révélateur de la médiocrité de certains joueurs capés en équipe nationale. La très large justesse du jeu de défense de penaud et barrey (je comprends,maintenant,la défaite en cdm contre les boks). La lenteur d une charnière grabataire : des transmissions 9_10 au ralenti. Tellement que l ubb ont été mauvais, les bléssés du st auraient pû,aussi, leur infliger la fessée 😅

It starts with Mauvaka who played more than 50 minutes as hook (and had replaced another machine, aka Willis) and finishes with Capuzzo (with Kinghorn and Ramos as back up, in case) vs Penaud. It’ll be very tough for UBB to recover from this….

Stade Toulousain is in a phenomenal run (DOUBLE CHAMPIONS in one season) and not to mention being led by Antoine, and it becomes masterclass in rugby. This match was so enjoyable to watch as a fan of ST, but it is indeed a pity for the underdog Bordeaux team. Us here in Toulouse say the real finals was the semis against the giant La Rochelle. Thank you. UBB never gave up , strong in some areas . Toulouses' coach did it well.. combining a few international traits with french 'never say never' optimism. ( could we have a quick tri- tournament between Toulouse, Blues and Saints?)

Terrible final unless you're a ST fan. I was afraid this would be over at half time. It was a wrap even before that. Toulouse was unplayable and Bordeaux was absolute garbage, couldn't catch a simple pass they were out of the game mentally after the second try I think.
