Thats definitely how i remember leaving Amsterdam 😅
Not gonna lie, this looks awesome, but what's it used for? When would someone execute the dutchroll? Is it just for fun or is there a practical use for it?
Why pilots aren't allowed to drink alcohol 8 hours (minimum) before a flight. 😂
Is that a British Tri-Dent or the Russian copy? Looks like their weight and balance calculations were wrong. Can anybody respond?
You need to learn how to run your camera. Can't see half of what you're doing
Vomit city 🤮
In mother Russia plane fly you.
Looks like they allowed Joe Biden into the cockpit to take the controls.
I like the Swiss Roll better.
Stroopwaffles for me and a nice strong coffee. I'm not afraid of being thrown around in an aircraft lol
I was on a plane where that happened never was scared of flying before that now I can't stand flying
holy schnikees
I don’t think so.
That pilot was NOT a DEI hire.
I don't like this one bit. It makes me super nervous. 😨
Dutch can't roll, only shimmy!
I had a 2001 Pathfinder that would do this when it hit about 60mph.
"Yeah Baby!"
Yep. That woulda made me hurl.
Unseen footage of JAL123 pilots trying to control hydraulic-less plane after bad maintenance rips off tail fin (circa 1985 colorized)
Dutch Roll is when Max Verstappen wins 4 or more grand prix in a row.
This looks like a phugoid oscillation to me.
And I was expecting a pastry.
That’s a nasty roll. I’d be pissing my pants on that plane
That is quite a pronounced Dutch roll.
Yeah, that's scary, but the SW plane that flew 500 feet over an Oklahoma town tho...😮😮😮
Talk about terrifying!
FFS, Dutch Roll is VERY easy to recover from. Cross control the aircraft and HOLD it there until it stabilizes.
with working controls yes. But the reason this plane even went into this state was a controls malfunction
Yeah, pilots who fly for the Guard do this all the time. Not commercial, military evasive flying.
Must have been fun to be on that plane...
It appears to me the pilot is drunk. 😆😅😂🤣
What do you want for your money. I boring ride?
I didn't know Tu-54s were aerobatic!
He is executing a “sideslip”. This is a maneuver where you want to lose altitude quickly.
Bro thats not a side slip, a plane doesnt go side to side violently on a side slip
A sideslip is done by putting the rudder on one side and the yoke on the opposite side, not putting the rudder side to side. And sideslips are done without engine power.
Some prefer Dutch oilballs with raisins.
I always thought a dutch roll involved cannabis
Then again, maybe it did.
Damn!! My heart must drop thru my ass if im on a plane & it start doing that !!!.
HOLY SH*T!!! Yeah, looks like the yaw dampener failed. That's a handful!!!
Its 2032 anyone else here still here enjoying the ride?
I prefer rock and roll
Everyone on the plane dutch ovened.
Yikes.
Dunno what people are complaining about free aerobatics...get ya moneys worth
I gotta admit it, I came here to see what a dutch roll is/was which effected the Southwest Plane last week and seriously damaged it. Awesome and scary pitch and roll that this plane endured while in flight. Probably felt like a modern roller coaster but with the fear that it could be fatal. Everyday we roll the dice whether driving, flying or getting out of bed. Hug and tell the ones you love and care about what they mean to you.
Actually, it's quite possible the passengers didn't feel too much acceleration in any one of those (4) directions .. But yeah if you were looking outside at a fixed point, you might get woozy
I may be crazy, but honest to God, I feel safer in an airplane (even a 737) than I do in a car (for sure), interstate bus, even train. Once upon a time, I was on a flight to Newark and the plane dropped a few hundred feet suddenly. I ALWAYS keep my seatbelt on except when going to the head, so I just got the roller coast float, no concussion. The woman next to me was shaken and started singing "Amazing Grace." (I defecate you not.) When she was done, she turned to me and said "You were pretty cool about the whole thing!" I replied that it was all out of my hands: It wasn't like I could get out and push, so why upset myself? There was probably a pretty experienced pilot at the controls (former military if we were lucky); (s)he had the best chance of keeping me alive, so get on with it.
@@UtilityCurveyeah, im certain especially in the philippines that the old lrt 1 trains would unalive me faster than a 737 Max
I prefer coffee rolls or jelly rolls.
A roll? No...just banking from side to side...no roll.
Go home 737. You're drunk.
That does not look entertaining to experience
Its not entertaining, its only entertaining when its done on purpose on an aerobatic plane which is used for stunts
That's puke inducing 😅
So it happens to "other" than the 737? Hmmm...
Tendency to Dutch roll is an intrinsic property of *all* swept wing aircraft. That's why they have yaw dampers.
