To continue the MTB trip, we hit up @ride_kanuga for some amazing trails and customer service. We ran into a snafu with the progressive drops on my buddy's bike and the staff repaired immediately. I am a novice, so I hope you find this video entertaining! The bike was fine after my spill yesterday. I'm mostly okay but definitely more careful on jumps the rest of the trip!

Berm Park has been on our radar for awhile now, and today was finally the day we could execute a trip into the mountains and make it happen. Weather looming, we departed the Lowcountry at sunrise to get ahead of the rain. We both enjoy content from @BIKINGWITHBOBO @SethsBikeHacks @BermPeakExpress and so many more. New bike day - Used 2022 YT Capra Core 2 - taking it on a trail in South Carolina called Biggin Creek in Monks Corner. Go easy, not a video editor by any means! Recorded on a chest-mounted GoPro Hero 11 Black. Mountain Bike trails are not very extreme in the low country of SC. Biggin is full of tight turns, roots and pedaling.

Did you have to use spacers on the wheels? I wanted to do the same but wasn’t sure they’d clear upper control arm.
The ball joint went bad quick because you didn’t upgrade the upper control arms

Awesome truck and video!. I just got a quote yesterday to lift my 2020 1500. I never asked for specific brands, he quoted me for a rough country 3.5 lift. Is that a terrible brand? I keep reading some unsavory things, then others are saying its great for them. I personally just want to be safe with my kids in there.
If the lift is only spacers and not upper control arm replacements included, you will have issues down the road.
@aFra109 yes this kit had uppers included.

Nice. I forgot to ask, did you notice a lot of body roll around curves sitting up higher? And any issues going at high speed say around 80?
@@Maab32 the truck handled normal after these upgrades. I didn’t go Mario Andretti, but it was good. The fuel economy takes a big hit. Price you pay for mud terrain tires!
I know this video is 4 years old but how did the 33x12.5" wide fit on factory wheels without hitting the upper control arm????
Would this work on a 2019 Limited on stock 20" wheels with no lift kit. Just air suspension?
I don’t have an answer for you - unfortunately. I’d say it would be too much tire for that setup.

Hey! I did the same exact thing I traded my ram 1500 for all black trail boss then after a yr or two I went right back to the Ram1500 I apologize to my Ram family and said I’m sorry take me back 😂.. it’s no comparison Ram gives u so much more upgrade for the money also❤ .. love your videos btw.. 👌🏽

I don’t remember a problem with 8th gear. 10-13MPG. 14 highway.

These are the factory 20”. Not sure of the offset or width.

do you have a ceramic coating? or what do you use to keep your truck looking so clean? just bought same truck trying to figure out best products to use
No coating. Just never took to a machine touch wash. Hand wash or touch less laser then a high quality quick detailer to wipe it down. The Ram paint is the best paint I’ve ever had in a vehicle.

Ha, it was to your left about 50 yds about 1/3 of the way from the end (going uphill). That climb was easy compared to Burnt Mtn.
Man, you just gave me food flashbacks from the time i was stationed in North Charleston. I still to this day dream about Los Reyes on Rivers. That place had the best Mexican food I've ever had 😂

I don't have the stock hub man. ill see about a review video on the YT - have several bikes but this is the most insane downhill bike I've ever ridden - we are beginners - today was absolutely nuts. I have some footage from today ill render and upload tonight/tomorrow morning. holy cow this bike is a beast.

@@expert4325 true, very few vids on the new aluminum Core 2. The downhill chunk it ate up yesterday was insane. my old MacBook Pro is slow to render 4k so I'm running behind on uploads.

a 2" front lift should not be that detrimental to our ball joints. Something else was going on
New Silverados are much better looking than Rams. Rams are nice inside but I don't understand what they were thinking with the design. Big step down from the previous few generations. Went from bold styling to a frumpy grandpa looking exterior.
I love the exterior of the Chevy, but preferred the interior of the Ram. Much higher quality materials and looks.

I was extremely curious if this was a joke at first or not( seemed like a downgrade)The new Chevys are decent trucks but the way the new 5th gen rams are built there’s nothing really topping it there built like a tank.

I have 2022 Ram 1500 with 3inch Motofab leveling kit it raises 3inch up front 2inch in back front 39 almost 40 I just need some 33's I'm good 👍

No, at the time of this lift, there was little aftermarket lift kits available for the 2019. I purchased the spacer pucks for an2018 and made them work in the back. I believe it was 1.5”.

It’s been awhile! I do not remember. I believe the lift is around $500ish and the tires are about $2k
@@aFra109 Anymore of an update on MPG? I read where you said before that city was 12-13mpg. What are you getting on the highway or average? I am just kicking around doing a level or a lift. Thanks for the help.
@@dcr1326 that was average. Both city/highway. It was pretty terrible. I don’t have the truck anymore. Aerodynamics were all off and the extra weight of them tires. They are HEAVY.

@@punderific444 I’ve had it twice because they didn’t fix the other side while they had it in the shop the first time. Total BS. Driveshaft replacement, electrical issues. All which still are around and they cannot find the problem so I just live with it. Parking sensors randomly stop working (front and rear). It’s a POS.

Thank you!! The ride was absolutely terrible compared to stock lol. I should have added longer off-road struts to the setup and that would have made a much better difference. I still encourage this, the look was exactly what i wanted and didn’t break the bank. I wanted to add spacers but feared the worst from online research. Also, I don’t think there would have been clearance inside the wheel well to keep from rubbing at lock turning.
