Many Pentecostal Charismatic churches no longer do healing and deliverance. Remember the Fruit of the Holy Spirit are important than the Gifts of the Spirit

For 600 dollars any pastor can become an "apostle" Degenerate or apostate is more like him.

My pastor is still on the younger side, but he's been quite faithful to our church for several years. We live in McPherson, KS.

This is something that was in the old Preacher's Magazine. They would have interviews with pastors of healthy churches and just briefly talk about how they got there and whatnot.

BRO! I wanna be on the podcast! haha We're about 100 people with a core group of 60. Been ministering for 15 years and have done a ton in non-profit leadership, social media (1.9M on Tiktok), etc. I KNOW it's cringe but it's shooting my shot at least haha.

If a church in any town around me consistently has more than 100 in attendance it's a big church

Man! If you need a pastor to interview I’d be game. 20+ years in ministry, almost 9 in my current position at a church with an average attendance of 50 or so in a rural town in south Texas. Or my friend Sam who has pastored the same church of 50-100 for almost 40 years now.

This is very cool! My Pastor would be such a great candidate for an interview, although he's only been with us 4 years at our tiny "reformed-ish" Baptist church in the PNW. But it's a college town church with a lot of 20 somethings who come and go, riding the wave of their education. I'm the daughter of a church planter, so we never had a huge church when I was growing up. It was all hands on deck :). But there are experiences and rewards the Lord gives through those types of ministries that are very unique and I wouldn't give up. :)

So incredibly pumped for this! I just started as a kids and youth pastor in a small town in Ontario Canada a couple months ago. Always wanted to hear from more pastors in smaller churches like the one God has placed me in!

Another good book is Recovering Biblical Manhood and Womanhood by John Piper and Wayne Grudem. I was raised by a mom that would repeatedly say that the Bible was written by 46 men who hated women. My dad was the provider, but my mom dominated the house and was the spiritual leader. This book was part of what I read/watched/listened to that let me know that God didn't hate me for being a woman and that he actually loves me as a woman.

I’ve heard Mike Todd’s sermons and I definitely do not look to him for spiritual guidance or any type of spiritual leadership. When he said at the 41:14 min mark that God responded to him by saying “you testing me?” In a manner that seemed like God was his homie…it was more confirmation that he doesn’t know the word he preaches. If Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the 2nd person of the Trinity responded with the scripture, Deuteronomy 6:16 recorded in Matthew 4:7 & Luke 4:12 that is the exact OPPOSITE of how he claims God “spoke” to him how dangerous is his testimony to all those who hear that? God doesn’t play! If he doesn’t preach a true Gospel the day of vengeance will destroy him. I will definitely be in prayer for him and for the congregation to seek God alone and forget the fluff.

This is why I can't even read Our Daily Bread. I know a lot of people who consider the verse of the day and positive messages that never go into sin, hell, or anything that isn't fluffy as devotional time. Illustrations are fine, but I need something more solid.

Wow, the devil has blinded Stanley and the devil is doing a great job using Stanley as his armature. The best way to destroy anything is from within, that's exactly what's happening with the church and Andy stanley. Take an influential pastor and use him to slowly distort what is good and bad, what is truth and lie, what is love and hate, then by the time you're done you've successfully condemned people who thought they were seeking the Lord to eternal punishment. I pray so deeply that Andy turns from his apostasy and begins to actually believe the word of God.
