What a rough driver on them levers
Big baz im surprised you have got a job in the seat, the way you load the lorrys, operate the machine, just all wrong wrong wrong your an accident waiting to happen
Wtf 😮 Did I just see a machine man jump out his warm cab and give the lads a hand 😂 I recently got my trained operator card but I need a crowbar to get these vets out the machine so I can get in it 🤔
Hello, give me a price, I want to thank you
always best to load headboard to tailgate that way you aint droping 1.5 - 2 ton on the raised ram and busting the seals
Tidying up everyone elses mess 🙄👍😂
Standard lol
Defo over loaded😂
Possibly but unlikely
Back to front all day long
Really
Wanna know more about this machine ❤
Feel free to comment about the Basic operation if you would like to add
Pretty sure I’m operating that exact machine this last week 😊
LOL, wouldn't surprise me
I’m over in Ireland. Think it came through an auction lol. You hardly remember the reg number
@@CraicDublin I think it was an Irish Company that owned it
Hi I’m thinking of buying one of these, it’s a 2008 with 20k hours. It’s very clean but anything I should look out for? Thanks John
Same as any other digger really, like worn pins and so on. With a Duck obviously, check the drive train, and that it drives as it should. You can tell a Machine if it's been well looked after.
Thanks! 👍🏼
when you walked up to that machine there was no visible scratch on the counter weight. then by magic the concrete panel is orange. go on what happened
The Machine had rubber cleats on the Tracks and was sitting on wet muddy Bog boards, with it being a 50 ton Long reach, when you slewed round the Tracks were slipping on the bog boards inching closer every time I slewed, The counter weight had to be about a foot away from the wall for me to reach the top of the Design, so ended up scratching the weight, didn't know I'd done it, it was the Dumper driver who told me. I spayed it up with some Taxi Cab Orange which is what Hitachi use, and it looked presentable. hate marking Machines, lucky I had same original spray
@@bigbaza30 lol
😂😂 it’s a zaxis not a ZX
You know what it is, and I know what it is, I mean it's written all over the Machine. And plastered all over the thumbnail lol. TY for your comment Nick, I hope you enjoyed the video
put it in high first and roll it with the smooth drum then trim it. you'll get corrugations in the stone and it will be a shit job and the tarmac lads will only moan 2nd free tip don't knock the manhole lids off. 😂
Your a bit rough pal.
Thanks, When you got lorries backed up, being all nice and soft isn't an option, Getting the Lorries out the gate asap is the main priority
@bigbaza30 fair point mate. I loaded 20 wagons in a 8HR shift Monday. Did a really clean job and was bunding the pile as I went I only had 3 wagons on return every 45 minutes. So that's why I wasn't going fast as you was in the Video. How many did you load in your shift?
@tomstatham7561 there was always 3 waiting plus the one I was loading, pretty busy TBH.
Always cool to see you master those huge machines! 👍😎
Thanks Markus, Love operating them. Thank you for your kind words my friend

Yes Big Ben, How are you Fella, good to see your comment bud. TY, hope your're well
Do you have to put it into neutral to dig or can you just dig on when in forward or reverse?
You can Dig with the Duck in Gear Forward/Reverse, It wouldn't go anywhere because you'd have your foot on the Brake. With the Forward/reverse selector being on the left lever right underneath your fingers, I used to stick it in Neutral anyway, by habit. Thank you for your comment
@@bigbaza30 that’s interesting, I failed my rubber duck test yesterday as I was back filling the box and I was still in gear, parking brake was applied at the time.
@@Sash_Window Sorry to hear that, The instructor knows that the Duck won't go anywhere with your foot on the Brake of if indeed you have the park engaged. But, Digging while in Gear would be seen as a safety issue, even though you, Me & the Instructor know, that the Duck will not move. Don't get discouraged by this and reapply for your test, and do everything by the BOOK. Good Luck Sash
Best rubber duck on the road
I agree, I operated a 17 ton Hitachi for a few weeks about a month ago, Great machines
Wow, on the first spin! Amazing 🥳 Congratulations 😊
Hi Queen, how are you. I know right, I only loaded £30, I was shocked, Had no idea how much is was going to pay as it was the first time I'd played Buffalo. TY for watching it
@@bigbaza30 You're very welcome 🤗Beginners luck is important sometimes 😅 But really nice win! Have a great night!
@@QueenBanhammer and you Queen
Beter solution is blade in the back for me.
If you are driving on the road and you got the Blade at the back, you have to steer right to go left, because the steering axel would be at the back, wouldn't be the safest way for the road. with the Blade at the front it would steer the same as a car
@@bigbaza30 When i am driving on the road i drive always with steering axel on front :) Blade in back is better to level stone or any stuff. Same when you lift some heavy thing and travel with it i always driving on back axel machine is more stabil and you can put blade down very fast.
@@simekszymsik3088 Very true, On the Hitachi like most Rubber Ducks on the steering axel it has hyralic suspension and can be locked with a touch of a button which makes it as stable as the back axel. I never have to put the Blade or jack down when lifting. the only time I use the jacks is if I'm lifting a concrete pouring skip to make it ultra stable
Up new videos
will do, not been very well for the past 12 months. will do some editing
May I ask why you use tooth bucket for this and not grading bucket, I am interested
Tooth is easier to move rocks, the muck was very moist and would stick to the Grading Bucket, I tracked it in after sorting it out. I have video,s of more work I done on that area, I will edit more and upload soon

2 questions. I’ve got beginner levels of experience in diggers, done my CPCS recently and the trainer said my digging was spot on. I am quite good with spatial awareness I’ve taken to digging really quickly. What level of experience would you need before you’re just good enough to sit in a job on site long term? Second question why not take that muck away using a grading bucket? It’s just pure spoil the guys at my work always load spoil with the grading bucket. Thanks
To keep your Job on any site long-term would depend on your ability to do any job as instructed and do it well, as you know foreman watch digger drivers closely if you are any good. Using a grading bucket or digging bucket depends on the size of the Machine and the type of muck you're loading away. I mostly have both handy tbh, But loading muck away should be done with the largest digging bucket as it is so much stronger than a grader Thank you for your questions, keep at it and never stop learning
@@bigbaza30 thanks for taking time to respond I appreciate the response. I suppose once I’m finished up being on my 2.5/1.5 tonne in civils (getting bored of digging around so many services constantly) I’ll just hop on a site as ground worker and jump on the digger whenever needed to build up on-site experience until they decide I’m good enough
@@Aaron19987 Well the fact that you're digging around services loads will boost your experience, the bigger the Machine the easier they are to drive I find, I hate operating 1.5/2.5 t they're a pain in the arse lol. I do a lot of work through agencies thats how I gained my experience over the years as no job was ever the same and now there isn't a job I haven't done
That bucket is alot deeper then grade
@@garycox5373 correct
I'm new to ticketed operating, trying to learn the more complex "do's and "don'ts" ...I'd imagine swinging the boom over ground workers isn't suggested??
With an empty bucket and curled in so it's impossible for the bucket to fall off if quick-hitch fails, also when groundworkers trust you they tend to get very close to the bucket during the day. BUT should be avoided tbh
I had my training yesterday on trimble, I found it very slow but some functions are handy like marking and finding a pipe in the ground, Many thanks for your video it seems like your more explicit then my instructor 😀
Thank you for your kind words fella, I enjoy using the Trimble good bit of kit
Does cherwell district council still use the landfill for bulky waste? and do they send some of there household waste to FCC Enviroment services landfill becuse on FCC website it says they do.
I worked at Ardley Incinerator just off J10 M40, operating a Rubber duck (Wheeled Excavator) in the tipping hall, what I saw was household waste being tipped by bin wagons from Cherwell District & Oxford City Council regularly like clockwork, also FCC's bulk and Holborn Bulk from London tip daily. Ardley deals with an insane amount of waste. If they do send/divert waste to other sites it will be temporary because of a stoppage/breakdown at the plant which is fixed sharpish. Landfills should be banned, Ardley and others like it is the only way to deal with the waste we ALL produce. TY for you're comment
@@bigbaza30Very intresting thanks. I saw on the county councils website the bulky waste is still sent to landfill and on F C C Enviroment services website they have cherwell district council listed as people who send west to them for landfill disposal. Can i also ask when you worked there if you saw something intresting were you ever allowed to take it as i know a lot of facilitys wont allow you to take anything. and do you have any photos of wheelie bins or any bin lorrys the older the better. thank you anyway
@@Snappychugdog One item that stood out more than any other were football and most of them were new or near new probably 10 a day. The only way I can see newish footballs thrown away is that they landed in a neighbours garden and they put them in the bin instead of throwing it back other the fence from where it came, lol. also alot of Mattresses full of rats, and kids toys in water damaged boxes. I never took anything but I'm sure the conpany wouldn't have minded If you did. One thing I will say, If someone tried to dispose of a body it would be found before it reaches the incinerator. The whole process is closely monitored
@@bigbaza30 I thought they recycled the mattresses but its better than landfill. I really love bins and all sorts about rubbish i always did but i never got many photos when i was younger i was hoping since you worked there you might have some photos of wheelie bins or any cool or old lorrys. if you do please email them to me thanks!
@@Snappychugdog The only pic's of lorries are in the video. I do have a video of a Hippo Lorry picking up a big Hippo bag using his Hiab out the back of my place, it's about 8 mins long, I'll download it and post it on my channel for you over the next few days

Junk! I never needed that shit think God I learned before that bull shit came out lol!
I know what you're saying but with the long reach 50 ton I was using it was pretty hard to gauge the stepped levels. TY for your comment
I jumped on the excavator for my first time and fell in love with it. I'm trying to get any practice I could right now. After an hour I didn't want to go home. Your video was so motivating seeing the skill. I want to be able to control my hands to smooth out surfaces just like you did in this video. Out of all the videos I've watched on CZcams, yours had me glued to it. 👍
Thank you for your kind words JG, practice makes perfect as they say, hope you get the chance to jump on one regularly so you can build your skill
Good work but seems like I work little more smoother then you😂 you must get tired with this speed of work and sharp turns also sound like engine booging could be water in diesel in filter or could be just you😂
When you have a high quantity of Lorries to get through speed is the key. as for water in the diesel is absolute rubbish, as I would have picked up on that instantly and had the Fitter come out and sort the problem. I've driven 360's with this issue and you can't operate the machine at speed or put heavy loads on the engine as the revs will drop to the point where you have to let go of the levers or the engine cuts out. As for working smooth, I adopt this method as and when needed ie:- working around services or when forks are being used, as you will see in one of my other video's. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and for leaving your comment, wish you well
My dad worked on didcot for 5 yrs im 57 so i was 5 lived abingdon for 5 yrs dad took me in a cooling tower it scared me silly

This looks cool if I was going to get a driving job on a construction site what would you say the best one would be.
The easiest would be a forward tipping Dumper upto 9ton, but you would have yo get off and muck in. Telescopic Forklift would be good job but need experience, to Operator 360 Excavators you would have to get experience to keep a job, it's one of them jobs when as soon as you start it up and move people can see if you're any good or not and you move you on if you're not up tp the task
👍👍
Load from the front to back of body👍🏻
Really lol, why's that then.
Good way to tip a waggon over loading it front to back only artics should be loaded that way only when needed
@@marshmarsh8446 Tip a wagon over ??? are you serious lol, never have I heard so much shite in my life, sorry mate but I must have loaded 6000+ wagons over a 27 year period and I've never seen a wagon tip over while being loaded. The only thing you need to be careful of is not to load over the drivers cab and not to drop the muck out of the bucket from a hight into the wagon because if you do you will find yourself falling out with the driver very quickly
Never heard so much bollox in all my life
@@bigbaza30 when it all sticks to top of the body because you loaded it front to back it will go over its common sense av been on many muck away jobs loading little tipper waggons never once has anyone driver gaffer etc said load it from front to back must be a modern thing they teach you guys ?
