Do they always drag these meeting out discussing their concerns?when a person states their business , shouldn't it be settled by the time a person sits down?

I'm very curious what the lawyer is constantly writing on his legal pad. even with issues that shouldn't concern him he continuously keeps taking notes. I think him being there is questionable as well. Thankyou for your work and allowing so many to view this not so gracious process.

Whoever is videotaping needs to stop talking, crumbling wrappers etc. Its hard to hear the meeting if you are making noise constantly

The issue whether there is significant noise is: location, location, and location. It has to do with whether or not conditions arise for wind shear across the area of the blade rotation arc. Such varies with the interaction of prevailing winds with landscape features. The blade moving through the slow or dead air on one side of the wind shear boundary is the culprit, as they are designed to be pushed by air rather than the other way around. Once that phenomena is addressed, then it's clear why some wind turbines have practically no problems at all and others have neighbors complaining about the repetitive whooshing or tearing noise. It's tricky because it has to be looked into on a site-by-site basis. (Ideally the industry should try to make for good neighbors rather than avoid or gloss over concerns completely.)

Why does he always give his opinion when it's not his job during this hearing?

Once the wind turbines are installed, it will be a cold day in hell when the township officials force the wind companies to shut off the wind turbines due to noise or flicker. A lawsuit is the only way to force the wind companies to shut off the wind turbines. THEN, how does the township force them to remove those wind turbines? That's another lawsuit. The wind company might, that's MIGHT cooperate and shut off one wind turbine but if several have to been controlled they will never be shut off or reduced. Regulate the height, setback, distance, and shadow flicker BEFORE not AFTER the wind turbines are installed.

Time to start a lawsuit

What good is growing the county budget if you ruin the lives of the people who live in your county? We are not your collateral damage. Stop talking about potential funds and focus on the scam you have been sold. Find a better way. This is not it.

Most townships allow members of the public to speak for 3 minutes. We were given 2 minutes to speak. The township supervisor, a conflicted official, told me my time was up after only 1 minute and 23 seconds. The entire meeting lasted only 38 minutes. Apparently, she didn't want to hear what we were saying.
