Hate to see that thing get in a roll over wreck with the shape of that cage needs a vertical bar .. there’s a reason even the big five have removable roll cages cause even those get bent .. aftermarket cages are 2-3k and up alone for a reason

Absolute rubbish

Drove the 1100cc version from rental with around 2000km on the clock (looked new) and it is a biggest chinese crap I have ever seen. 14,8kW from 1100cc engine WTF? Also there was no torque even. Top speed around 70kph but extremely noisy. Not a sound of the exhaust, the sound of metal grinding metal. The windshield was making cracking sounds as the whole thing deformed under forces, steering had a play at least 10°. The engine sounded like it has a sand instead of bearings. Shifting gears was like 50yr old bus, also the gearing did not make any sense until you hit a smallest hill and were forced to change to 2nd gear because lack of power. Suspension looks beefy but it is so stiff so it does not move at all. I suppose this thing lasts max 5000km and then it is ready to rebulid. But I must say it looks very nice. Noone ever buy this crap. Trust me.

I drove 3 of these, when my pal bought em. A lot of fun BUT, many technical problems in maintance. Tyres r made of something u can't seal if u make a whole in it. It just dont react with chemical repair kits. Secondly, (5 years ago) u couldnt find exact tyre on EU market. Third of all, Pipes r taking inside corrosion quiet fast. We broke 2 pipes in construction and it showed us that 30% was already eaten from the inside. Four - we couldnt fix brake pump. Same problem as with tyres (some unfixing chinese gums) We had to exchange it with some from normal car. Fuel tank gets dirt in short time (idk why), so fuel filter change very often. Front winch is just good looking - works terrible. Anyways a lot of fun, looks fantastic (everybody looks at it) but u have to care a lot and still it wont be enough. Money will never get back if sold (u have to find some i-diot who buys used) - much possible to wreck it. If u have spare money u can "throw to mud", than its ok. If u keep money for years to get it, better forget

I have to say it's pretty impressive to see these things using pretty decent components for 13k dollars.. Elka suspension exc... however I think I'll stick to my xp1k.. I would just be hesitant about build quality and things such as bearings and bushing being junk in 30 or 40 hours.. the big 5 charge a premium for a reason, a lot go into these machines..firm believer in that you get what you pay for.

Sad news today. As of May 22, 2019 This bad a_ _ machine will no longer be made. They decided to go up in price by 25%. By doing so all builds were canceled.

Ok if China builds a factory over here in the US these Renli’s could be sold here much less. But until then we have to pay the shipping fee from China to the US. I thank that’s fair. $13k for a SXS like this is awesome!!!!! I was saving to get a Can-Am Maverick x3. Not doin that anymore. I’m buyin one of these now then buying another one next year. I almost have enough to pay cash for the X3, but why have 1 SXS for $30k when you can have 2 for $26k.
