Thank you for posting this video of rehearsing for your production. I saw this musical 4 times in NJ in 2009. Very special, as I’m sure it was in your theater.

I had such fun doing this play in London. For 4 years I was understudy to all 3 male roles - I "went on" many many times. Robert was my favourite to play.

I am looking for a particular singer of Gospel Music. He sung on the Gospel Jubilee on TV around 1960 and 1970s . I remember two particular songs that he sung * I want be a crippled boy in Heaven ! Also ; I'm on the right road now . Hoping one of you or a family member is him. Thanks for any information.

Broadway has nothing on this crew! I’ve seen this play on Broadway and at the Playhouse. I really enjoyed both but the Playhouse cast was every bit as good if not better! Great job!
