not really no, she just wanted to get back to the stage no matter the cost and that misslead her, she does say that on Azure
@@SantosOverlord I remembered reading she got in a debilitating accident saving Rixia. I guess this was more mind control. I would hate for her to be evil all along. I am 1/4 through Azure after finishing Zero.

The example of weather here is not valid imo. Previous formats saw torkoal win a few regionals and pelipper doing really well aswell. Also teambuilding is arguably more difficult because, especially nowadays, there are so many viable types of teams with different cores of mons, the format is very diverse. Sure in singles you have to play around hazards like sticky web, but same goes for doubles and tailwind which is extremely common. The game is much shorter however you still have wiggle room for pivoting plays or unlucky crits. Its not the end of the world if 1 turn goes badly. I get your points but there are aspects you cant compair
but singles has more playstyles overall, doubles only has offense and balance, while singles also adds defensive, and the hax thing sure you can play arround it but its a lot harder and you get less pieces to make up for it and yes as i say in the end they shouldnt be compaired, just pointing out some other differences that a lot of people would overlook since they would just take a Wolf short for it
