I love all vegetables and salads and dips, but my baked potatoes are unhealthy, I like a knob of butter melted over the the two halves of the potato, I cut it in half, and then a large spoonful of coleslaw over each half!! full of calories and unhealthy but so good!! 😊

Thanks for this fascinating video - I never watched TV in the 1980s when I was young, especially not Breakfast TV, as I was always rushing out of the door to school. Now these snippets of old breakfast TV fascinate me!! was this actually 1981? I thought Breakfast TV began in 1983.

She has the face of an angel like the beauty drawn by an old artist upon the barroom floor and eyes of the wisest of wisdoms. I own every book she's written which keeps me spellbound to her tho I've read them all many times over its never gets old to me. I've built a separate bookcase to house her books only its like a shrine to greatest woman who lived on the face of the earth and with my magic wand I wash away everything and anything that hurt her as she is the most precious of all flawless gems..a gift.. a mystery of our universe just for me. And now the impossible has become a possible..I hear her swert voice for the first time. Thankyou Catherine 💞 from 🇨🇦

Catherine is by far my favorite author. I have most of her books and will not part with them. I live in the USA. The first book I read of hers was Maggie Rowan. Then I was hooked. Rest dear Catherine. You’ve earn it.

My grandma, born in Sunderland, other family members in Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, North and South Shields. She was related to Catherine Cookson, via Catherine's father He also had a blood disorder, as did Catherine and unfortunately myself My haematologist is in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and I'm checked regularly. My grandma and my aunt look so much like Catherine, especially in their o!der years. My grandma married a Scot, who incidentally was related to George Meikle Kemp, architect of the Scott Monument in Edinburgh. All these famous folk, but that's all my kith and kin are now! I've visited relatives in those areas so many times Cullercoats and the Marsden Rock being very special. The folk are tough, hardy, down to earth, but with big hearts! I watched the documentary, however, as I've already commented, the sound and music spoil it so much! Did the editors listen to this before putting it up on You Tube? I doubt it! I 💖 Catherine Cookson movies to bits but I've said in light hearted comments to friends before "Gosh, Catherine must have had a troubled childhood" but I had no idea whatsoever 🌷 I was brought up in a violent dysfunctional family in London in the late 50s early 60's but seeing this documentary has brought awareness to this fine Lady's roots ❤️ Thank you Catherine for all the Entertainment you've gifted. Catherine had a disease called HHT, (I have it) It’s a disorder of the blood vessels causing massive nosebleeds, gastric bleeding, arterio-venous malformations in the liver, lungs and brain. Miscarriages are common in this condition as is depression and anxiety. It’s a shame knowledge of her condition wasn’t as known as it is now. They probably didn’t know why she suffered as she did. My mother also suffered because doctors didn’t know how to treat her blood loss and manage her condition.
