If you're referring to a sound mind, just come to Christ. I don't think I've ever experienced being out of focus when doing an exercise. God bless yall ♥ Jesus loves yall

Lol what? 😂😂 Most guys I've seen who bench a lot suck at push ups, while those who do a lot of push ups don't struggle with bench.

Doing 3x 5mile 30lb rucks per week has been working great for me. Low enough weight to not require recovery the next day but high enough to get major cardio work in with a 15 minute pace.

    We call this "survivorship bias"

  • @rememberthefallen1970

I remember a 25 mile ruck we did. 12am to 1300 (we did security stops throughout) it was pretty damn stupid. A bunch of people went on profile for different things related to blown out knees, rolled ankles so bad that their foot wouldn't fit in their boots, stress fractures etc. Freakin infantry man😅

  • @tabootimejumper9671

Was able to talk with some cadre running the pre-selection course on Bragg. Injury is definitely a hige factor as they've seen a huge decline in bone density in the youmger generations. Wont bore anyone with all the science but can confirm 👍.

ya need broke in boots with soft gel inserts, just like tennis shoes , prep your ruck, stretch before and after rucking, ice your knees and shins after rucking,

if you weigh 200 pounds you were probably fail height and weight. Its best to find a shuffle style and boots for the area you are in. Heavy boots are nice for the forest where i find light boots are good for the road.

The unknown factor is the most important aspect. Many can meet and many can exceed these requirements however you can not control how resilient your body is. Infection, fractures are a huge factor which even the strongest will can’t overcome. You can’t out will a whopping pneumonia or a broken leg, torn rotator cuff. It indeed takes a special kind of guy and a component of good luck to beat the odds.

Seriously the new guy mentality or potential treatment is keeping soldiers from passing. What the fuck happen to being humble and fucken not giving a shit and having prove yourself. Shit id give zero fucks being the new guy as long as i got selected and passed SFQC.

Attrition rate for potentially being the new guy on an odd is the weakest shit I've ever heard. Shit back then family was the Attrition rate biggest reason along with finances. Now it's ego getting people washed out

I am 15, I have 6 years train. My overall goal is to get to air force pj’s, my personal goal is to get to around 200-220ib in 6 years. I am currently 6’1, I weigh 150ib, 14% muscle mass, 12% body fat. And I have the funding for supplements, more protein, I already have a home gym, and a ruck sack. I am willing to go through hell and back to achieve my goals. So the question is, Any tips of what I should be doing to target my specific situation?

Im on the same boat as you man (also trying to go PJ) when I was 16 I was 6'1'' and about 160 lbs. Im now 18 and I'm 6'3, 205lbs at about 14% bf. So your goal is definitely achievable. Just keep doing your runs and stay constant at the gym whilst also practicing calisthenics at home. I would also recommend buying a pull-up bar and doing them throughout the day. It really helped me develop my back as well as overall upper body strength.

Don’t straighten your knee in Romanian deadlifts. If you straighten your knee, it takes load off the hamstrings, and it’s actually called a floating deadlift.
