Would you recommend waiting for the Lectric One, or get the XP 3.0 now?

Just looking into getting one, do you think it could easily handle approx 30miles commute with one steep hill ?

Bike is alright, their customer service sucks. Go with Aventon.

The problem I see with this bike is that at $3k+ (with new tariff and tax) is that it puts you in close rage of some decent full suspension mid-drive emtbs. For another few hundred more, I would go with full suspension.

I agree, I sold my Kawasaki Versy’s and i bought super 73’s for all the family, so i have four super 73 and is always great times with my family!.

We are in our 60’s and trying to lift an Adventure 2 can be tough. We bought a Level 2 and put offroad tires just to cruse on dirt roads and trails. So much fun without the weight.

Hand signals only work if both you and motorists around you know what they mean. I don’t signal a Right turn because I’m not crossing anyone’s path of travel and hold my Left arm out straight to signal a Left turn.

Excellent video and decision made - mid-drive. Do you have any views on converting a full suspension mountain bike to a comfy road going eBike? I am riding a front hub converted track bike right now and it is pretty minimalist. Looking to create something more plush for my 20 mile commute and I don't want to go down the fat frame fat tyre route.

so you say 40miles but then you live 2 or 3 miles from doorstep to downtown and it takes 2 or 3 rides to flat the battery. If each journey is 6 milrs means that the bike is able to cover 18 miles before it runs out of juice?!?

Where is the torque sensor located on the Level 2? Most people would just assume that it issn the bottom bracket, but there are other types of torque sensors too. Please let us know what type of torques sensor is on the Level 2. Thanks!

The problem is for every great downhill pass you make, that means you have an uphill climb ahead of you. Unless, you get to the top of something like Pikes Peak. Have someone drive you to the top, and have a blast going downhill afterward. But I sure wouldn't want to pedal to the top of Pikes Peak. lol

Love the V2, you do not need a throttle, a one gear system is better no shifting and less weight, also rim brakes are lighter and less hassle than disc. Disc brakes only make sense on a MTB.

I got the old micro USB Grid Side Beacon version of the one you got. They are great, but I have no idea what use a high solid mode was for. Low solid was fine for bike paths and that's pretty much the only place I can see a solid mode would be useful. I looked at the new USB-C version and they kept full power solid mode with a dissapointing 1.5 hour runtime. They should have traded the lumen output for longevity of about 3 hours and given the full 110 lumen brightness to whatever they determined is the daytime mode.

Drains the hell outta the battery, but I'm a big boy, and it still handles it. Investing in a second battery for heavier people who might rely on the throttle more often, is much recommended

Well, if what he says is true about cracking the code with pinion torque sensor novelty optimum setup then the next step would be apply for a patent.

The easiest way to compare is a hubdrive = automatic and middrive = stickshift, they both have their pros and cons.
