How I make a lanyard bead.

Here's my simple way of making a lanyard bead. *meant to say 3/16" and NOT 3/32" for the center hole and threaded rod.
Making slingshot bands: Attaching the pouch for maximum band life.

Here's a video on how I tie pouches to flatbands. It has more than doubled my band life. This method is inspired by a great video from @KalevalaSlingshot czcams.com/video/uUolRvsino4/video.htmlsi=e1Mo8rlQh-pDn7no Thank you for watching.
I love a sharp chisel!

Not a 100% but I think it was Robert Pursley who did that specific lil slit at the bottom of the wave system.
Very cool! Would love to see more videos like these! As far as I know the wave was invented by @metrogradegoods
Awesome frame! The recipient is off to a great start on their slingshot journey 🔥
Dang dude! What a view! Slick frame too.
Thanks! Those are the Bridger Mountains behind me. Certainly easy on the eyes.
Nice shape.
Pretty sharp
One of the coolest designs on the market I love mine!
@@TennesseeSlangin Hey Ethan! How's life? Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it greatly.
Beautiful work man!
Thats sweet looks just like glass
Nice work bro
@@coyoteslings Thank you sir! I had to try the clear plastic after seeing some of your frames. 👍
Superb work 👏
@@timevans7867 Thanks!
That is beautiful. The polishing on that frame is exquisite. Very well done. 👊
@@Ropa_Redefined I appreciate that! This stuff is super time consuming to polish though. 👍
@Matt_Makes_Slings Very time intensive. I've only made one frame with lexan, and I agree. Good stuff, man. I like your work. 👊
Checking back in to say that I've been using this method since I saw this video and your claims are not exaggerated. Anyone that wants to get the most out of their bands should really give this method a go!
Noticed a mistake in the video. I meant to state 3/16" and NOT 3/32". My apologies.
That was very cool to watch. 👊😎
Awesome!
Clear is AWESOME. For sale?
@@claytipton7435 Thanks! That particular frame isn't for sale but I can always make another one. 👍😄
@@Matt_Makes_Slings how much? I want 1.
@@claytipton7435 $125 shipped in the US. I can ship internationally as well.
Nice to hear that crystal string works so great 👍. Good video Matt 🤘
Thank you for the original idea! 👍
Are you using the crystal string for more than one set? Been dubious about using the exploding finish.
I don't reuse the crystal string. It seems to separate over time quite a bit.
@@Matt_Makes_Slings I can see having the rapid untie useful for taper tests/adjusting. I snip the tuck loop and pull the tag end out normally. Otherwise method is pretty close to this.
Cool method, I'm a firm believer in the constrictor knot, mainly for its compactness and ease of tying but I may have to give this method a try.
Hard to beat the constrictor knot for ease of tying. 👍
Awesome video! Totally going to try this next time I tie up a set. I like tying bands with crystal string more than amber belt, but kept having the issues you described early in the video. Cheers!
Right on! Let me know how it goes. 👍
Test complete and success!!! Keep em coming!
Thanks! 👍
Gorgeous brother!
Thank you!
so satisfying!
Thing of beauty! Gotta love sharp tools
Good Stuff Brother 🤙🏼

Shoooey, that's a mighty fine looking frame.
