Whole Backyard is Now Covered With Golden Pothos!
A lot of people are requesting an update regarding my Golden Pothos Wall.
After a few months, my whole backyard wall is now covered with Golden Pothos.
From the floor to the top, the 9 foot+ wall is so lush!
The wall is 30 meters long!
The leaves on top are already reaching lengths of 3 feet or more!
It completes the natural forest feel of our backyard.
Wait until the end to see a top view of the whole wall, to see the golden leaves in all it's glory!
Enjoy the video!

An Update on my Successful Rubber Tree Propagation - Air Layering Method - Details on How to do it

Here is an update on my successful rubber tree propagation. I used the air layering/marcotting method which is a sure way to establish roots before replanting the stem to a new pot. This makes it possible to replant a multi branched stem, which gives you a head start to a fuller rubber tree to begin with. Definitely a better idea than directly sticking a stem cutting to the soil without rooting...

    Actually giant pothos and regular pothos are the same plant. The leaves of pothos keeps getting bigger when when the apex roots gets vertical support to grip on (this isnt the same as making it vertical with a support such as rope or stick or something). Eventually the leaves become very big. For the ones where even the lower leave are big are basically the ones grown from the cuttings from the top portion of another plant

    Normal pothos and hawiian are the same just normal has been always bred small. But if it is grown up a large pole eventually it's leaves get bigger then a top cut is taken and the process repeated or wall and eventually it will make leaves the same as the Giant ones. Your "normal" one isn't as it's been shaded by the big ones giving it less light therefore the small leaves are staying small

    • @IslandBoysTV2020
      @IslandBoysTV2020 Před 2 lety

      Hindi naman mamamatay ang naicut na vine. No need to put anything dun sa exposed vine na pinagputulan. Ang browning ng leaves can be caused by too much sunlight and heat due to our current sunmer season. Also, the placement of your pothos is better sa morning indirect sunlight. It will have a hard time surviving direct afternoon sun.

    Beautiful plumeria BUSH or TREE you've got there. Thanks for the info. I couldn't help but notice the potted traveler's palms (Ravanala Madagascariensis) on the 1st story balcony of the apartments behind. I have one as well that I ordered from Urban Tropicals in Hampton, FL I ordered last year that has put out 2 full leaves and is working on a 3rd. I also have 4 plumeria cuttings I ordered from Etsy that are beginning to leaf out. We're only at April 13, so we have the rest of spring and all summer for them to take root and get started. I'm in Lake Charles, LA where we enjoy a subtropical climate. Not quite warm enough to plant them in the ground, but almost. We have 3-5 light freezes (28-32 degrees) here per year. So I just scoot my plants inside an adjacent room for the night. Thanks for posting.

    I have the regular one which is the small variety but after growing them upward they do grow big leaves and if they grow giant they'll have fenestration like Monstera. So I do believe that the small variety and the giant photos are just the same. They'll just depend on how you grow them. If you grow them downward or in hanging pot. Their leaves grow smaller while if you grow them upwards and if there is something they can stick or hold something like wall or tree then the leaves will grow bigger like giant photos.
