Did you just call it a "Jungle-@ss?" That's great! But I prefer my RTAKII over the Junglas but I carry my Esee 6 with it as well, and I think that is the perfect combo. The medium sized esee 6 bridges the gap between smaller tasks and medium sized and the RTAKII for chopping and clearing brush. This was a great video because now I see the difference in the Junglas I & II. I was actually thinking of getting a Junglas 2 but I think I'll stick to the original.

The only ones here that really qualify as “premium” are the CTs, given they use 5160 (and they actually say so in their listings). Most other elements of an axe are subjective to one degree or another…but 5160 is genuinely superior to most steels most manufacturers use for most axes. And it’s an integrity offering, given that they actually tell you what the steel is. If you’re going to charge a premium price, you really should be honest about what you’re selling.

Broh' I bought a OPINEL INOX#8, from a camping store in RI, in 2015. Never used it, until today 8/24. My impression was less the stellar because it lacked sharpness. It was stored in a garage then a storage unit since i bought it. I paid $12 for it. I wasn't expecting much unit i sharpened it. I used a cheap BUCK small metal sharpener. I became SPOOKY SHARPE" fast and easy. I i looked up what metal it was made from, and here i am. I'm impressed
