AC stopped working in my 2009 Honda Accord after installing an aftermarket android radio. Any idea why that may be?? BTW, if I remove the head unit, and install back everything factory, AC starts working. Any help be great...
I installed it two days ago but I can't listen to AM radio or FM.
Problem I see is that not all 8th Genration Hondas are the same, my was built in Thailand and is right hand drive as I live in Australia

I bought one that came with a backup camera. Can u show how to install that one if you have one as well?
Hows it holding up? Any bugs and or problems
So far no problems, the only issue I have found over the past months is that you need to decrease brightness right down, otherwise during the night people can see you miles away!!!
@mariog5598 there's no auto dimmer ? Also I've heard with these people have laggy Bluetooth problems so the connect to it by plugging there phone in. Does this have that problem
@@TheRealTrueTone Initially, I didn't have issues connecting wirelessly with my Samsung phone (A53 5G), after a while it became a struggle connecting to it, I had to turn wifi ON, OFF, then Bluetooth ON and OFF so it became a nightmare especially when you just wanted to jump in the car and drive, so I started connecting via USB (cable) and it's way better. As for the Auto dimmer question, I would say it's more a phone connection issue ie when my navigation app on the phone (waze) dims after sunset, the app on the Head nit remains bright, the only way I found to make it dimmer is to go into the Android Auto/ Maps settings and change it from Day to Night.
@@mariog5598 thank you for the reply 🙏
Thank you so much for this. Nothing would come up at all and I asked experts and couldn’t get correct response. I actually found it because of this video!
Awesome, glad t this video was of help to you.
My manual transmission in my pulsar n16 can be hard to get into gear, not grinding just physically hard to get in, do you think a gearbox oil change would help? Thanks 👍
Its hard to tell my friend but you dont lose anything in replacing the oil.
Where did you mount your camera? Did you drill any holes? Can you show how you connected the camera to the reverse wiring? Thanks in advance!
I have a 2010 honda accord and I bought a similar head unit as yours. Everything seems to fit but the one harness that you use to connect the audio right and left out with, it doesn’t fit with the one in my car, the one I got is rectangular shaped but the wire in my car it is supposed to connect to is smaller and square shaped. Do you know which carplay will fit in my car
I'm having the same problem. I was told to connect the red/white rca cable with the 3.5 plug to the aux located in the center console.
Thanks for mentioning the AM/FM radio details. I have been trying to determine if that was still available once you install one of these units and I could never seem to get a definite answer. But since that piece is not removed from the car, I wondered if you still got to use it once you had the new unit installed. Excellent; you not only mentioned it, but demonstrated it. Thanks!.....that is exactly what I wanted to know.
can you still use your steering wheel controles?
The steering wheel controls work on the Android unit ONLY, Volume up/ down etc. if you want to listen to the old RADIO, ie FM, AM, CD the steering wheel controls dont work. To control the CD, FM and AM you have to use the controls on the main dashboard.
So there isn't a place to plug the black wire marked steering wheel control?
Please how do you connect Apple car play adapter to this android screen
You need to click on the ZLINK app on the Android Unit and have WIFI, LOCATION AND BLUETOOTH turned ON on your phone and follow the instructions on your phone, the unit will recognise if you are using an iPhone or Android device. This is to connect it wirelessly
How are you going with this? I am looking to upgrade mine too. Is the screen responsive? Does it have a cheap feel to it?
Definitely not a cheap feel but sometimes does not connect to my phone. I connect vía wireless Android, but I think its my phone.
Nice 💪
I would just add 3.5 L not much of a difference with the extra fluid.
Spot on, thanks
Thank you
I'm having issues with the unit staying in place and the fan isn't tuning..
it is USD 159.99
Ya if you can add a link for head unit thanks a bunch

FORGOT TO MENTION WHAT SIDE OF INVERTOR TORCK IS IT,THANKS GREAT INF.
is this the same for 2016 c300?
I would guess the C250 and C300 have similar engines, both are 2L turbos, with the C300 having slightly more HP, hence I would argue they are both similar
Would this be the same for C300 Mercedes 2011?
hmmm the c300 is V6 correct? It could be the same, you need to check with the dealer
@mariog5598 no should be absolutely different location. Maybe same sensor type when the problem is the same but location No This is M274 4 cylinder Renault engine
Mine is C300 2016
Have this problem with my w176 a45, im going to replace the part with a new one and see what it does. Thanks man👍🏻
Is the problem with this Part delete? I have now the Same on my a45 amg Please help me
Great video - thank you. I am having problem to get to the screw that holds the sensor. The space is extremely tight. Have you by any chance removed anything else on the way in order to have better access to the sensor and electric harness? Any advise would greatly appreciate. Thank you again!
You need to remove the aluminium shield that protects the sensor, I know the space is very tight, you need to feel the area with your fingers alone.
Is this the same for 2016 CLA ?
I would say it is as long as it has the same M274 engine
What size torx
Cant remember mate but if have set it should be there, it is just an average size. Sorry couldnt help more.
Hi Mario, Thanks for the video. Can you tell me what type of battery you used to replace it and what voltages you get?
I bought Boston power Swing 5300 at 3.7Volts each
Thanks so much for the video. Really helped me out changing my sensor today. I did struggle with getting the actual sensor out as torx bolt is quite difficult to get to and trying to unclip it once I took the bolt out. But I did it eventually.
once you removed the protective plate, did you remove anything else to get a better access to the electrical harness to crankshaft position sensor and nut that holds it in place? I manage to remove the plate, but can't figure out how to get to the harness.. .the space appears too tight - thank you!
you need to wiggle that thing and it will come off@@gennadiyfriedman9741
Hey Mario, Nice work . I think the sealant over the batteries is just a fail safe in case the motor housing leaks . If the motor housing leaks , usually the pcb is fried as well. Some tips : close the housing using two large clamps instead of the mallet . Save a lot of time using a cordless screwdriver drill but make sure it has a good low torque setting . Amazing how much maytronics want to charge for the new motor assembly !
Thank you for the tips.. 🫡🫡
@@mariog5598 No worries . I’d also put some silicone grease on the sealing large O rings and put a pack of slica gel crystals inside the motor box to absorb moisture.
Great Video!!
Thanks Onrix...
Thanks
the fact that you posted this 4 days ago when i've been looking EVERYWHERE for a video on this is insane to me thank you so much for the detailed explanation! did you have any jerking / hesitation between gears before you replaced this? mine from second to third acts like it's going to shift then the rpm's kind of drop down a tiny bit then go back up & it lurches into third. mercedes is saying torque converter but i don't buy it. thanks again man!
Yes, that's the main reason I changed the sensor. Normally when driving and cruising along in any mode, confort, sport or sport plus and I pressed gas for more power, the car jerked/ hesitated and bang down shift and off I went; this was so embarrassing because a Merc is meant to have a bit of power anytime you wanted it. Also every time this happened I never got a fault until one day I was so pissed with the car that I really pushed it and felt like a train hit me from behind, only then I managed to get a fault code. I took my car on 2 occasions to an independent Mercedes dealer and run their diagnostic software and nothing no codes were thrown out, and they told that the only way to fix the car was to start replacing sensor after sensor...go figure. Look If I were you I would change the sensor first, its very cheap, do it yourself or get someone to do it, not a big deal. Good luck.
@@mariog5598 wowwwwwwww that's crazy man i'm glad you figured it out! i just called my mechanic & told them i want it replaced next week. they go "did someone tell you you needed to do this or did you get a fault code?" i was like ... it doesnt matter i want it replaced anyway. so next thursday we shall see what happens, i'll keep you posted! thanks again :)
@@benzomusicofficial did you get it replaced ? How much were you charged ? Also did it fix the issue ?
@@HevinsHouse i am so sorry dude i completely forgot to tell you what happened lol. so they replaced the sensor, then i brought it to benz after to have them do a re-adaptation.. turns out it absolutely is my torque converter & one of the solenoid's that are failing. quoted me $5000 i laughed & told them im gonna just drive it till it dies. oh well, worth the try!! guess they were right in the first place.
@@benzomusicofficial Merc dealers love the word re-adaptation, that's exactly what they said to me initially, they take 2 technicians one driving the car and another with a laptop doing the readaptation. If my mind doesn't fail me, a while ago I saw a few youtube videos where they showed how to replace the solenoids but that's heavy stuff, I wouldn't attempt it and it was in russian!
