can we download your template please?
Love your videos! Thanks. Would love to see how you're using effects (sends/routing).
Do you have a complete 0 to advance course about M32?
The pink noise is not present
Hey, nice channel. I am having trouble including the meta data when I render out my ADM files. The option to "apply program level meta-data" is greyed out and when I load the ADM file into a new session, the audio is fine but the object meta-data is missing. Any idea why that would be?
Thanks! Sorry, I am still new to Atmos and haven't faced that issue yet. That said, are you importing your ADM into Pro Tools? Does Pro Tools even read metadata from an ADM? II wouldn't expect it to.
Eric, you are doing an amazing educational job with these videos. Thank you so much!
Thanks! I am building a class for the fall.
straight forward, thanks!
Thanks!
Do you suggest mixing through this plugin? Or using it as a utility for checking after you have done your speaker or headphone mix?
I would use it throughout the mixing process. Atmos Music is a different animal then stereo mixing. Most listeners will probably hear the content on headphones, not large speaker systems. I think its super important to check out what your mix sounds like on headphones with different streaming services.
@@ericferguson2321 Thanks for the swift reply! Love all of your videos. Sent you an email.
You skipped the advanced divergence controls. I don't see any info about them online
Yes I did. It's an intro video.
Wow, you are awesome, thanks. I am using 2024.6 now, but with this tutorial I am very clear with the routing.
Hi, is it correct that i dont see any levels coming into the re-render aux monitor we have set up ? the loudness meter in the insert is seeing signal but no i.p signals on the actual aux track ? Thanks :)
Yes, that is correct, When you route a track to no output the meter doesn't function. If you want to see the meter work, just send the track to a dummy 5.1 bus that you create in the IO.
@@ericferguson9480 Thank you Eric, much appreciated :)
Thanks so much for this awesome video, super helpful as I start to get into mixing and mastering for post! I just downloaded Youlean, great recommendation. I was wondering how do you account for a mix where you have some pretty quiet conversational parts with minimal sfx, and then parts later in a reel that are climax scenes with music swelling and loud sfx. In that situation is it ok if the quiet parts are hitting below 24 as long as the loudest part of your mix isn't going over 24? Or would you need to adjust your mix more/compress more so you are hitting 24 pretty consistently throughout a reel?
Hi. I am certainly not a post expert, so you should probably ask others as well. That said, I think it depends on what sort of content you are producing. Film typically supports more dynamic range than TV, advertising, and other formats, and it is OK to have sections where the dialogue dips below and above average level. You don't have to nail dialogue to a target loudness all of the time. In TV, radio, and advertising production, you may want to compress the dialogue more aggressively, so you can stay right at the target. This helps the message is consistent and easier to hear in all environments.
Thank you ❤🙏🏼
How do you export the mix? I'm using internal renderer
does m32 sound different compared to m32 Live (2019 version)?
hello eric ferguson.can you please tell me how can i get pdf file of smaart
I Really like your channel Eric! great Videos and explanations!
Thank you! Very useful.
Thank you for the valuable video!! I have a question. What was the reason to put those transmitters in aluminum case? Do you keep the transmitters and iems in the aluminum case after coordinate frequencies as well?
This was very clear, easy to follow and yea,,, I can see how this can be complicated in a session. THX!!!
Ty for the nice video, will ypu ecplain the objects in another video soon?
The way this guy presses the buttons, he needs a steel mixer
Hi, thank you for your video how would you connect the object-based audio to these auxes? Thank you
Great video! Any chance you could show what you talked about at the end adding to an existing template?
Compleatly unrelated video but comments are turned off on this one. czcams.com/video/8qgHNJIRF00/video.html Amazing Video. I really like the Flying Junkyard optic of these old PA systems. They give me a sense of Freedom you had back then. No pesky rules and regulation. Just you some friends making a big festival for lots of people. Maybe i'm romantesizing a past i never had.

do I need connect to wifi(Internet) or I can just buy a regular Netgear Gigabite Ethernet switch to hook up all the mic receivers to my MacBook that has the WWB installed?
You can use a regular network switch. Doesn’t have to be over wifi.
Protools 2024.3 update make video please
Very useful video!
Hi Eric I do the same setup and all the objects or the bed send signal to LFE even if I don't send it, what I missing ?
Why not use a Pro Tools 7.1.4 routing folder and put the limiter on the routing folder? Also, by having your objects feed the sidechain which then feeds the limiter which is strapped across your object bed... the more you limit the less you send to the sidechain. It creates a kinda of "negative loop." Right?
I think Avid gave us a 7.1.4 aux recently, yeah?

Please when’ll you do a class on Rivage console 🙏🙏
This video saved my butt today. Thank you!!
Using this method, could you essentially run your entire mix through these channels? Because in theory, every channel would still get its own separate panner. And then you’d essentially not need to use objects?
im not understanding
hey do i record thrrough dolby atmos or just mix through it bro
mix
how do i record in dolby
Great tip! Clear, concise and to the point. Thanks!
Have you tried side chaining of the stereo master? directly to the 'Mix buss' plugs?
Hey Eric, how would you replicate this type of routing in a Dolby Atmos session where I am routing to Objects? We typically output DX, MX, and FX stems for all mixes that we do in Stereo
Hi Eric. I am starting with Atmos Mix but right now I am trying it on headphones via the Binaural mode. I am facing a small problem. I am running the version 5.1 of the Renderer Mastering Suite but when I launch it then in the Room Configuration Display I am only seeing L & R and not the other channels / Speaker Outputs. Secondly the Top Left Corner where it says Monitoring, that part is greyed out and is set to Physical
