You Forgot to talk about the most amazing : the city of Emmen, located in the Drenthe Province in North East of Netherlands : it's the lastest dutch city who are still lit by big T12 fluorescents tubes in longest version of 40 and 65 W

Is it just me or am I missing the working museum pieces (of art) in my hometown 's-Hertogenbosch?

Holland had a lot of SOXs and now has a few but they used to be mercury lamps, they are very nice lights, I would like to see many up close but unfortunately they are nowhere to be found, only a few SOXs around 15 that I have seen twice on a road near a airport in Greece, and they had a nice orange yellow color and some that stay red, I have seen many times white mercury lamps and in my neighborhood there are still several mercury lamps and some that were a little green that became that way over the years, the ones I have seen it's mostly HPS and now LED, I've also seen a few CFLs but few, if you want to see classic white MVs in Greece, there are still quite a few that have not been replaced that are worth a visit I think ☺️

Mooie lijst! Ik ben gisteravond nog naar de N468 geweest door een oudere video van jou, om voor het eerst SOX van dichtbij te zien (+ het opwarmen). Ik heb onderweg bij een tankstation ergens zelfs nog twee hogedrukkwiklampen gevonden.

Thanks for making a video showing the places 😁 I'll probably go there in December, I don't know how long I'll stay because whenever I go to Europe I spend some time in Portugal, which is where a large part of my family is from, but I want to visit at least some of the places you listed, since I've never seen any sox in person.

If it works then the sox ballast supports 66 and 90 watts, probably the same for fluorescents, a ballast that supports 1x36w will support 2x18w or 1x18, probably the same as the Sox ballast, I don't know much about SOX, I know about MV and especially HPS if I'm wrong on this please correct me😊

Jestem w posiadaniu takiej tylko na lampę SOX 155W niestety ma ona rozwalony klosz oraz kawałek obudowy i nie wiem skąd wziąć do miej lampę :/

Hi, excellent video. I have the Philips SRS 201 model in SOX 135W but I am still looking for a hook and a lamp. In France, 135W SOX lamps are almost impossible to find.

Which company is philips because only philips makes such weird and wonderful products like the master son-t apia plus hg free i don't think it can compete much with HPS especially LPS but it is much better than the stupid white leds that tire the eyes . . and it makes you nervous😤 I want it, where can I buy it?

You're a lucky guy getting an A1! The A1 came out in 1955, and it won a council design award. It was very popular over here, but unfortunately the 'opticell' (what we call a full plastic surround) became very brittle with age. They are now very delicate lanterns, and often the pride of a collection!

Very interesting design. It's design looks futuristic for It's time. However i think it's better to force the light directly down on streets because it would be lighting up everything but the road. This is from a street light enthusiast in the United States.

Indeed, the bulb does not have much room in this fitting, usually the fittings are quite a bit longer in length than the bulb to accommodate a larger bulb.
