Looks like the same “electrician” forgot to use a 2” plastic bushing too.
That "Sdanbom" thing that you're holding looks like a fake clone of Siemens surge protector... So fake that they don't even have an official website, let alone proper UL certification.
Where is letherface? 😅
Those square body models are cool. You don't see many of the ones with just the base single square headlights like that one there on the roads anymore like you use to back in the day.
I don't see or hear a rocket of any kind, date is accurate but I don't see it or hear it at all :(
Worth it.
This looks like the start of the 1st scene to some masterpiece anime.
It's nice to see one of those are still around. I designed that vehicle for Nordskog back in the mid-1980s.
that transmitterchip is crap polluting the fm band
This chipset may well create spurious emissions, but in my particular use case, the very short range of the transmitter, as shown (NO external antenna attached, plus the very low power of the transmitter), plus the very nearly empty FM band in my little town means there's essentially zero chance of interfering with any commercial FM broadcast service.
WHAT WAS THIS - THE TITLE SAID TRANSMITTER, THE VIDEO SHOWED A RECEIVER, THE AUDIO TALKED ABOUT 15 CHANNELS, MOST POWERFUL..... SINCE WHEN DOES A RECEIVER HAVE "POWER"? WHY WOULD I WANT TO BUY A TRANSMITTER THAT BROADCAST AN FM SIGNAL IN THE DESIGNATED COMMERCIAL FM BRAODCAST BAND? WHAT???????????
The transmitter is shown at 0:06 The transmitter is getting getting electrical power and audio from the computer via the USB connection on the side of the transmitter. The audio heard is from the green FM receiver. The audio is just what happened to be playing on my PC at the moment- the CZcams video shown at first, with the narrator talking about a portable two-way radio.
Transmitting on the FM broadcast band allows the use of common FM receivers to hear what you're transmitting. If the transmit power is low enough, this is legal to do in the US and elsewhere. Transmitting on the FM band at higher power for more range isn't legal without a license, but if one transmits on a clear channel, you're unlikely to raise the ire of the FCC or other enforcement agencies. In the small rural town where this video was recorded, there are only one or 2 commercial FM stations that can be reliably picked up on a typical portable radio, so there's loads of "clear air" in the band in which to transmit one's own signal.

The economics of this service was NOT very well thought out by me, especially the need to hire a full-time spotter to avoid head on collisions with semi-trucks, so the business failed rapidly...
Although cutting vision holes in the plywood was a considered option, poor customer feedback nixed that idea quickly...
I just brought back a wasserkocher from Germany and it brought 1,5L of water to a full rolling boil in 3 minutes. Amazing.
Is this running at 15 or 20 amps and Are you using a nema 6-20 plug/receptacle?
It would be running about 12 amps, somewhere around 2400 watts.
I haven't measured the power draw of this kettle, but it is rated at a full 3,000 Watts. This is very voltage-dependent, of course, so this number will be lower or even higher than the rating, depending on voltage at a specific location.@@chrismitchell6478
I had the kettle powered in a temporary (and NOT safe) way, by plugging the kettle's British-spec BS 1363 plug into a matching IoT switch (not shown here), which was plugged into the BS 1363 extension cord that IS shown here. The extension cord's plug was removed, and replaced with a crappy Chinese-made NEMA 14-50P plug, which was plugged into a matching 240V receptacle on the power pedestal next to the old camper that I was living in at the time this video was made. The camper itself was entirely powered by a single 30-Amp 120V feed from the same pedestal. The dual-pole breaker in the pedestal that protected the NEMA 14-50R receptacle that the plug was in was a 50A one, a MUCH higher rating than the usual 13A fuse or breaker used with a BS 1363 plug. I could have swapped out the breaker with a dual-pole 15A one, and I even had them on hand at the time, but didn't bother...
aaand its gone...

Tractor time
A neighbor with a large 4WD pickup will be moving it for us soon. I used the little Hombre to shove the dolly under the trailer, and while it was there, decided to try moving it, just for giggles. I "caged" the air brakes on the trailer, so it will roll freely when towed by a vehicle not equipped with air brakes. The empty trailer weighs perhaps 18K, and the dolly another 3K or more. The trailer has been there long enough that the huge tires have settled a bit into the soft ground, so it will take a bit of a yank to get it moving, but my neighbor is confident. It will be going to a spot that we gravelled.
Random question... Do you know of any other places they put a vin# plate on the genesis besides the sticker on the header panel above the drivers seat?? I know the vin is correct on that sticker, but it is old and faded, there has to be a metal riveted vin plate somewhere. I know it isn't in the windshield. I was told on the dog nose buses there was a vin under the hood on the firewall, and a vin on the frame by the drivers side wheel. But I looked everywhere on this one and cannot find any vin plate except the sticker that will eventually wear out, there has got to be another, online searches didn't help much, but did lead me here. any help appreciated, thank you.

Gotta love the bifold doors
Is that an 8 foot box? How long were you RR ties?
8 feet, yes. The ties were maybe 8 and a half to 9 feet long.
@@DarronBirgenheier thanks for responding. My husband and I just bought a 40’HC and it’s 8 ft wide but we were worried we may need ties longer than 8 ft. Good to know we can possibly use 8ft ties. Thanks again.
Legend has it the container is still on that bed waiting for another railroad tie.
It is! Still waiting for the new transmission for the truck...!
What happens at the end?
I stopped the video at that point because I had to run and grab some "cribbing" (large blocks of wood) to place temporarily under the bottom side rails of the container, a couple of meters from the end. I stack them high enough to place the container end somewhat higher than level. Then I build up a gravel base under the corner boxes of the "hovering" end of the container, and lay a railroad tie between the gravel and container, gradually lowering the container with a hydraulic jack until it sits level on the railroad tie ("crosstie" in some other countries). In cases where I'm placing a container temporarily, I will have the driver pull the trailer nearly out from under, then place a RR tie right on the ground under the corner boxes. The back edge of the trailer is tipped down until it's JUST over the RR tie, then the driver moves forward, dropping the container more or less right on the tie.
I have the same compressor . Well almost the heads are a little different design. I'm still looking to spin mine up. Having trouble finding a starter, what did you use in that regards.
I think my Dad bought a new GE starter for it, which can be seen at 1:18
That’s good too. What do you call that bouncy white stuff? Sleet? Hail?
It's one of those. They form under different conditions, and I don't know how to tell them apart when they hit the ground. My guess is hail.

Hello where can I find this clock at? I like it a lot .
buy it on bangood but you have to program it with pictoblock or arduino and make your own apps
@@nerdylicious1814 I have the same watch. I also bought it from banggood. My skills are in hardware not in software. I'm trying but a lot of this is over my head. I'm into the old analog clocks on the watches. Not the digital time clocks. I just rencelty as of yesturday got my watch to first project with some of the basic lilgo library. And it was rough becuase a lot of errors from my end of missing libraries and some of the code wasn't working right. But with help of good ole google and searching for the errors i was able to get my first programming on the watch to work.
@@DiyintheGhetto there are alot of cool stuff like giff and games that you can add to the watch

This is moronic. Railroad ties DECOMPOSE. You never want the foundation of anything to shift 🤦♂️
This is the High Desert. Perhaps you are not aware of the lifespan of RR ties here. Also, this is a shipping container, NOT the Washington Monument...

The thing is THIS GUY wants to set the world on fire & that is what makes it so funny, b/c he deserves it. My question is, was this the guy actually handling the molotov cocktail or was he just standing by lending aid & support to this attempt to commit murder?
I hope this guy was truly one of the bad ones and not just someone there for the LARP. Don't get me wrong, I laughed, but I also thought, God, this guy might be permanently crippled.
@@ressljs No one participating in these riots is innocent. They all know that fireworks, molotovs & other things are being thrown @ the police. Those things are dangerous weapons & to use them IS attempted murder. He knew what was going on & he participated any way. If he did throw the bomb he is as guilty as the one who did.
I live in Portland. As of 03/06/202 radical groups like ANTIFA are going around damaging property and physically assaulting ordinary citizens. The mob of resentful thugs have high jacked the name of “black lives matter” and the mainstream media covers these demonstrations as “mostly peaceful protests”
