People fail to realize had they not stuck with this original concept. It would’ve been a different concept of a teenage girl dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts. It would’ve been triggering for some users, including myself. So I’m not mad at the video at all, some are. Because this song is dedicated to a fan named Olivia that committed suicide on May 2014. A group of her friends told PTV about it. About how she loved them and it still haunts them about what people said to her. Bullying her to the point that she took her own life. Theres a part in the song where he cites what she said in her suicide note and it’s heartbreaking. But it’s very faint so check out the Acapella version. I hope that clears things up.
