Why does this presenter talk like he is slightly slow in mind. I live in Yorkshire and have never heard anyone talk in such a strange way.
What a great player, but never got justice
Did he buy a house in Nottingham ? 😂
Well let me stop you there, SON! ......don't fooking bother!
I was there we are wolves
Unbiased! Nonsense Harry, old boy! He said that whoever wins he hopes they beat Manchester United. Old Charlie … I saw him at Bridlington as a kid, either in 1979 or 1980. Happy memories of a traditional British summer holiday.
Honestly I'm not Barnsley fans but as football lover, I have to admit the programme have high historic value. If you have those real programme then you should proud because you already participate for protecting Barnsley pieces of history. Respect for you and I wish you always healthy and happy, my friend :)
Brings back memories of my visiting relations in Dodworth as a young child in 1952. Thank you.👍
Cheers for the upload.
said to have had sex in the British Museum, who or what (!) with, |IDK
Chuffing brilliant bloke! R.I.P. ⚽️
This is rumour control, here are the facts...
Johnny wasn’t wrong was he
Rob Hodgson in the tree at North Ferriby !!
I was there
Great bloke Charlie. Sadly missed. Folk with the ability to laugh at themselves and not take everything so seriously are in short supply these days. God bless you Charlie, proper gent.
Visited the memorial in the wood for the first time today
Great memories
Clint goal machine.
So pleased to see my old friend alive and well as he was back then. Happy memories.
such a great under rated under rated actor. Off to see American werewolf in London this Halloween.
Wenger negative haha lik a raffa N well done Jurgen , stick to Allen Sugars Yacht
I was there, great day. Well done colne.
Before they showed the camera the numbers
I was there that day ❤️
"A familar face in a new shirt" - Err hardly new! Shearer spent years there and then retired so what the Hell are you on about??? 🤬🤬
This is from 1996 when he signed for Newcastle
🤣🤣
They demolished our village colliery The North Gawber Colliery Mapplewell and refuse to erect half of a headgear wheel to span the gateway to our village recreation ground. No doubt scrap was of more value than a memory. One sad story about mining is still kept a secrete or never mentioned, "The fate of an injured or retiring pit pony", perhaps one day their story will be told, alas, but we doubt it. I lived next to a pit pony field 1940's & 50's, we knew all their names, some were show ponies, we even had one pony that won the All England Pit Pony Champion Cup at the Royal Yorkshire Show held in Wakefield. It was never talked about of their fate, but it was address in the House of Commons in 1952 with a shocking report.
Dave Jones must b glad Gary willard retired then.
It's ridiculous how much I fancied David Currie when I was younger lol
ahh charlie flower. bless him
He wasn't any good as a manager
At Leeds and Lincoln but not at Barnsley
You grow strong, or quickly withered, in those days!
Doncaster Rovers favourite son Charlie Williams
Wish Charlie was still here. He was brilliant and a proper gentleman. Loved his comedy, good clean fun and his way of telling jokes in his local Barnsley accent was legendary.
Growin up in the 70s charlie was one of the icons of that decade
A fantastic programme.
Mr Rottweiler, Richie and Eddie's neighbour in Bottom.
Ron Atkinson saying exactly the same thing about Gary McCallister that he did with Bryan Robson!!
What was the result of the match ?
0-0. Blades won the second replay 1-0. Multiple replays were abolished in the 91-92 competition
@@MosesDeLaRoses thanks
Great comedian. Funny as hell.
Colne Dynamoes folded in 1990 because they were refused entry to the GM Vauxhall Conference after winning the HFS Loans league in 1989/90. Their ground wasn’t up to Conference standard. I think they would have become a football league club if they’d carried on. Strange story because they folded almost overnight.
They did, but it wasn't quite as simple as that. They did attempt ground sharing at Burnley, but that fell through and the plug was pulled on their cash. Colne FC of the Northern Premier League are effectively the phoenix club and still play at Dynamos' Holt House home.
Gateshead were promoted instead
R I P Brian Glover 1934-1997.
Apparently there was a bad crush at the Everton end that day and could have turned into a hillsborough type incident if there hadn’t been room to move the fans over a bit. Especially down the front.
Not only Charlie, but Judith and Harry....
Irreplaceable.!! We'll never see the likes of these fabulous characters again.!!!
All the lads tucking into fish and chips, the good old days.
Casper what you doing Lad 👌👌
Thanks for uploading it, 32 odd years ago, great memories. Still can't believe Southall saved that from Futcher. Now if we can only find that David Hirst header - some say it's on film
So close to division 2 that year, could have changed our history, Altho I'd settle for going to a game atm... UP THE SHAYMEN 🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵
I was there. The first and only time I sat in the west stand seats. I distinctly remember the ground seemingly took over by Leeds fans. Maybe it just seemed like that on account of the number of away fans there usually were at Oakwell.
Thanks for this
