The main meat of my channel are long form videos but shorts are very important too. I find that posting a short is like casting out a net that draws a lot of people, and then a small percentage of those people subscribe. They are quick enough to create so that you can keep up the consistency of posting content, during the in between times of creating long, time consuming videos. Plus they are still purposeful because not all information needs a 30 minute video! My most viewed short took about 5 minutes to record and post. Zero editing, and it blew up 😄
