My first art form is photography but I'm working to create great videos too. I also love 3D animation so I'll post what I create and I hope you enjoy it.
My Utah adventure part 3
The final video of my travels to the beautiful state of Utah in May 2024. This time we'll see the areas in and around Capitol Reef National Park as well as a hike to a stunning natural bridge and don't forget the incredible Bentonite Hills.

First episode of a 3 day trip to central Utah. In this video we explore the area around Goblin Valley State Park and take a short hike into a slot canyon. I also capture some of the stunning beauty of the landscapes from the air.
Adventures in the Arizona Strip to an abandoned mine and a slot canyon

On this adventure we're heading out into the wide open spaces of the Arizona Strip. We'll explore a slot canyon and then on to Grand Gulch Mine, an abandoned copper mine in the middle of nowhere.

This is the same canyon from my previous video but this time I hiked in from the bottom of the valley. It was a way awesome hike! This is in Gold Butte National Monument an absolutely amazing place!

In this video I go on an adventure in Gold Butte National Monument to view some red sandstone outcroppings. These formation are the same as you'll see in the Valley of Fire State Park to the west of the Virgin River. And the best part is I had the place to myself. We'll also check out some other beauty along the way.
The Secret Cave

I took a hike to a secret cave in the Nevada desert. It turned out to be a lot harder than I thought it would be because there were very steep slopes and huge boulders along the way.

Valley of the Gods

I've seen pictures of this place but they can't match the beauty of seeing it in person. I hope the birds eye view from my drone can amaze you with the awesome grandeur of this place! I hope you enjoy watching. And oh yeah the rock formation is called Mexican Hat just like the nearby town in southern Utah.

Yes there really is a Mars Base out there somewhere but this time it's in the badlands of Utah. The is the second video from my adventure through the beautiful landscapes of central and southern Utah. This time I'm in the area of Caineville at the famous landmark known as Factory Butte. Red's Canyon Overlook

This is the first campsite of a three night overlanding trip through central and southern Utah. This is an amazing campsite that sits right on the edge of the cliffs with a grand view of Red's Canyon Wilderness and the whole San Rafael Swell.

Here's a short video of my recent adventure to Central Utah. These are places I've wanted to visit for a long time and are absolutely stunningly beautiful! Sadly as the last photo shows I got rained out of spending a second night in this beautiful part of the world. I will be back!

Another very cool video John. Do you know if any of these monuments are climbable? That porch below the mesa in the last seconds of the video looks awesome.
Thanks Greg! I'm sure people have climbed it but I wouldn't really call it climbing. The skirt around the mesa is bentonite so it would be more of a scramble than a climb.

Wow! What excellent terrain. From above, it reminds me of Bryce Caynon, but the slot canyon reminds me of Zion. All of it was really pretty. All of this was great. (I really thought the music bed worked well too.) Good stuff!
Thanks Greg! Next time I'm gonna hike to whole loop which traverses two separate slot canyons. It was more amazing that I thought it would be. And as for the terrain the whole area around the Swell is incredible.

@@JohnGetchel Dope! Was trying to recreate it from memory a few days after having watched this and everything worked but I was overcomplicating the light setup and couldn't find the right one. It's really true that sometimes "less is more"
How to Create these bubbles?
Very nice! I'm currently staying on the Arizona Strip at the Black Rock Road exit where all of the folks are. I'm fascinated with the Strip. One could easily spend their entire life exploring the Arizona Strip and only see a small piece of it. Thanks for sharing this with us. BTW, what type of mine was that? I was hoping you might tell us 8n the video.
Thank you! I love the strip too! Many more places to visit yet. I did briefly at the very beginning mention the type of mine. It was a copper mine. I should have gotten a picture of the info placard so you could pause and read it. Next time!

Thank you Jake! The drone has autonomous flight modes so it was mostly flying itself. I did do a little manual flight too but just pushing the control stick as I drove.

It was such a secret cave you didn't even show it😅. That was a waste of 3 minutes of my time‼
Oh but I did! It was the arched opening behind me sitting on the rocks! It was too treacherous to go inside as I was there by myself. The video can't show it but it was VERY steep terrain and loose jagged boulders.

This is a very nicely done video, exceeded my expectations. Thanks for taking the effort to capture scenes with the sun at a low angle, and including nice cloudscapes. Nice work with the music also. Looks like an interesting place to camp and get away from the crowds!
