I guess from Theni one road goes towards Thekkady and another road to Munnar. Theni to all the way till munnar just beautiful with tea gardens and few hairpin bends. Next time when you plan take this route to munnar.

That was a great video. You should have went to Suruli waterfalls, best place to take bath with fresh water coming from untouched hills. Wood briar tea estate have their own private falls, it requires some walk inside forest called Oothuparai falls, i call it bed-room falls, inside enclosed rocks. Iravangalar dam, venniar dam also beautiful. In your video your showed three dams (they are not single dam). In the foothills on the eastern side you have Varushanadu Valley, it has many scenic villages, with river streams, forest, surrounded by mountain on all sides, it is a pristine drive.

Thank you for showing us, it is close to my native. I am outside TN now, it rekindled my memories. Megamalai is a peaceful resting place not for activity tourism, which got restricted when it became 51st Tiger Reserve of India
