This is the process of changing the motor from brush to brushless. There must be a change in the front and back axles because they are plastic. And also the large gear that transfers the movement from the cardin to the axle from the plastic. The brushless motor has a speed and power that plastic gears cannot withstand high speed.

Although the servo isn’t included there, because we couldn’t find the same model. Just check the size of the original WLToys servo, and buy one with the same size.

We wanted to change the servo as well, but it isn’t required, you can keep the original one.

We haven’t tested it yet, but maybe we’ll make a video about it in the future. However, hopefully we’ll be able to make World’s Greatest RC Drag Race 3 happen, then you’ll see how does the Transyro Racing Crawler perform against some other rc cars.

Our car has also been fitted with a brushless motor an esc, and we needed to buy a new receiver, because WLToys built the receiver with the esc as one part.

You might want to buy a new receiver and transmiter because the receiver on the 12428 is built in the esc

"Let see what exactly happened" what happened is nobody there could drive. And to my knowledge the 12428 uses lithium ion (two 18650 batteries), not lithium poly.
The infamous flat spot on the tires.. I have both the 1986 red and 1987 black Tyco Turbo Hoppers, ones and swapped one of the front tires that was flat on the red with the spare from the top and runs like new. The black one has perfect tires still. I also have three 9.6v Heads-Ups(Two almost mint condition and one with breakage on roll cage) and two original 9.6v Bandits. My collection also includes three Radio Shack Golden Arrows as part of what I call my "Elite" cars, along with 1986 and 1987 Nikko Turbo Panthers, Nikko Pepsi Trans Am and a couple of 1980's Radio Shack 4x4 trucks.
I have a question, can the transmitter be a 4 channel transmitter ?
Yes, it can be. However, a 4 channel transmitter and receiver will be overkill, because you are only using 2 channels (throttle and steering). A 4 channel transmitter and receiver is much better suited for something like a crawler, where you have multiple gears and locking differentials.
